I actually played against someone who was running almost exactly this deck for my first ranked Wild game after the expansion came out. Glad it's getting the attention it so rightfully deserves!

I don't remember the username, but I honestly popped off a little to have lost to a change I didn't even know had happened. I love that. Infinitely better than playing against the same five decks on rotation all the way up ladder.

The moment the expansion dropped I built a deck around this, and it was quite fun dropping porcupines with 7-10 attack, and giving it poisonous and stuff like that

Magnetic is still a surprisingly strong keyword, especially in hand buff decks. Love the keyword!

Magnetic basically reads: "Your Minion is also a Spell that gives all its stats and keywords to another minion, so long as it has a "Mech" tag." You can have a wide board, but you can also stack everything together into one giant minion. You give Keywords from one minion to another Minion that doesn't have that Keyword, like Poisonous onto a minion with Taunt. In that way, it's very versatile, and versatility is very valuable, see Druid's Choose One Keyword as an example.

Local hunter only player, I made a very similar list when the change happened, most notable changes were I didn't run revive pet, but I did run zilliax. I highly suggest zilliax for the deck, however I will have to play test revive pet myself.

Weeks later and I can confirm that drawing 1 revive pet is good, but the second is a dead draw. Wouldn't recommend 2.

I played a lot of porcupine in a deathrattle face hunter deck when I first started getting into ranked, so it's amazing to see what it can do now that' it's also a mech! Venomizer was not something I anticipated, but it is an awesome interaction to see.

Hi Mark, I found an interesting interaction with the new tags of cards.. cutlass courier now being an undead pirate draws you undead cards OR pirate cards, even though his text only says pirate^^

I played a mech hunter version of this when the tribal changes dropped. Fun but frustrating because if you don't draw Porcupine or don't have enough attack buffs for it, you lose.

I tried this deck with Dire Frenzy on a 10/10 Augmented Porcupine with poison...it seems it only buffs and shuffles in the NON-MECH parts. I drew a one that had 5/7 not 13/13. It also did NOT have poison.

Dire frenzy only shuffles base level minion with +3/+3. Other buffs like the 0 mana poisinous card or stat buffs are not copied.

Since the porcupine has the mech tag as well now, how does it act with deathstalker rexxar? Does it replace the mech tag with the undead tag, or was it removed from the pool?

i wish decks like this were viable. i used to love playing porcupine hunter in standard. i lost half of my games so didn't climb, but had a good time doin it by golly. maybe classic will see some new expansions eventually so we can play a non power creeped, but still fun, version of the game again

Bug. If you have a poisonous minion that can kill the ennemy hero and target him with the poinonous minion the damage will show up and won't disappear.
