I think thats what a lot of people dont get about comedians, the ones who made it to mainstream dedicated their adult life to the craft. This is my favourite Mark Normand video ever. Literally! I love the joke writing. It's like he barely uses taglines because the punchlines are so good. Which reminds me of Norm Mac Donald in a way who I know is a major influence of Mark. The material felt edgy without feeling mean-hearted, too far that it would insult people, or overly dark. Yet he did some crazy racist bits that I know many comedians would fail at. Unbelievable joke writing and excellent delivery. Even when the women woo'd to him having problems in his relationship, the facial expression while asking for a threesome, and ten getting no response, was such great crowdwork, yet Mark never relies on it because the actual jokes are just better. It's the confidence he gets in his material being so awesome that Mark doesn't rely on crowd-work. I love this video so much, I think it's literally my favourite shorter set of all time. Darker than you can go on late night TV so you get the better jokes overall, too. Does anyone have any other Mark videos or even other comic's videos with sets as unbelievable as this one?
