Cheers Pekka! Glad you got to enjoy first listen too & Hell to the yes, what a great cover. I would've been the punter who stood maybe 15-20 metres from the stage & raised a devil horns/beer every 30 seconds lol

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 OMG they heard the barking through my headphones and the amount of barking and flying dogs everywhere to find out where it comes 😂😂😂 This really made my day, nice early bd gift thank you. I didn’t realize to ask laughs from anyone, nice surprise. 😍Listening Marko would already have been great. Their live sound is amazing live too. Many times in gigs one would need earplugs to hear singing and all instruments better but Marko’s crew really knows how to make it sound awesome. I heard Marko few weeks ago and the difference to other (bigger) band was remarkable.

Nice, nice. Marko!!! He has done Black Sabbath covers earlier, he even played in a Black Sabbath cover band here in Finland.... But he found metal trough Black Sabbath, first love! But same for me, Black Sabbath was first, I started listen them 1971. And still love those early albums, were connected to my youth. And Tony Iommi is my favorite guitarist, still... Learned to love his guitar sound then and it is still my favorite.

I've been to one of his shows on this solo tour. It was at a small venue it wasn't even sold out by a long shot, which was a disgrace imho. It was indeed the last song of the set.

Struthy, this band line-up will be the opening act for Nightwish's tour later this year, so Mr. Hietala is going to be a busy boy. They also did an interesting cover of David Bowie's 'Starman' On this recent tour !!

Hietala is closer said like 'here-tullah' without the R. Saying the vowels closer to Aborigine or Italian way is closer to Finnish.

Many bassists play barefoot. It is much easier to feel the drums and stay in sync with them.

Marko started to play barefoot after he lost stem of his shoe during Nightwish show at Wacken 2018 and had tech pull his shoes off from his feet middle of song.

You know, I never understood why something is called a cover. Both the music and lyrics might be written by completely different people and even at different times. Only when a song/band/singer is considered hit worthy something makes it a cover. Remember those one hit wonders? Bananarama made a song popular in the eighties, Venus. Just, that was written in 1969 and preformed by Shocking Blue kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4GomYSrnN9ge9k It was a hit in that year in the Netherlands, England, Germany, in short Western Europe. Just not across the pond. Ah well, the wonders of the music industry... 😉

And he's quite a teaser as a composer, arranger - makes us wait for the punch, enjoys the build up. Yeah, and a story teller. Just some of his stories are more like tongue in the cheek, like that railway song. wEll, he comes from the Finnish province that produces heaps and piles of Finnish comedians, he has that vein in him clearly.
