I think the fact that people are still lining up to compare a driver who is 40 against people who are in the mid 20s and prime says something honestly. Not to mention Max in an average red bull didn’t even get podiums for half of this years season. Different equipment complicates a head to head comparison, however you can compare the seasons they have been in F1 together: Max vs Charles, 149 vs 148 GPs, 60 vs 8 wins, 101 vs 43 podiums, 40 vs 26 poles, 17.38 vs 9.66 points per GP, 31 vs 10 fastest laps and 4 vs 0 championships.. So please explain to me why it should be obvious to the world that Charles is faster… BTW the only driver that is better than Max in the above mentioned head to head comparison over the years they raced in F1 together is Lewis, Lewis now 40, Max 27 (so is Charles btw), both at different stages in their careers and both in different equipment, Lewis Mercedes, Max Torro Rosso until Spain 2016 and Red Bull afterwards…
