Contrary to the people who say this isn't ADHD, I think you're mistaken. This definitely is! 1) The ladybug is bored, easily distracted, and not focused on what the rest of the group is doing. 2) The distraction can lead to frustration (flower). 3) Another distraction can lead to trouble (bees). 4) Extremely intense focus when needed (escaping from bees). 5) Creativity in escaping the bees (bicycle). Made me smile.

@dirtysanchezman : I like your description of ADHD. I've not been diagnosed with it, but deal with autism with ADHD tendencies. I can relate to the thinking pattern. Having several thoughts at once and not knowing what thought to follow. Often happens when I'm in a creative mode.

ADHD medication speeds up the processes of the neurotransmitters in the brain. The hyperactivity in people with ADHD is a way for the brain to "not fall asleep", while the problem for a person with ADHD actually is the opposite of, what most people think. The signals between the nerve endings, that has to run in a certain speed for a person to function properly, is actually running to slow. In order to compensate for this problem, the brain, smart as it is, gets impulses by doing other things.

anticountersmart: I often here from people that don't have ADHD that it must just be behavioral, or that it just requires discipline. Well, you know that voice of yourself in your head? Your stream of consciousness? Imagine having at least 5 different, seperate streams of consciousness going on at once, literally being able to "hear" several streams of thought at once, THAT'S what ADD is like. The reason we can't concentrate is we don't know which stream to focus on in the first freakin' place.
