Apologies about the once-a-month cadence, but I have found my my work schedule is too crazy to do a video every 2 weeks.

Where would you draw the line between monolithic and microservice architecture? Let's say I have a single codebase for a product that I deploy in multiple deployment units (HTTP server + background workers). I also deploy multiple single-purpose open-source services, such as IAM, push notifications, media format conversion, etc. Is this still a monolithic or a microservice style?

Read about "Architecture Quantum" or "Architecture Quanta", that will solve your question. Page 25 of the book "Software Architecture: The Hard Parts" by Mark Richards and Neal Ford. You can make youreself a free account on O'Reilly for a month and read that part.

Monolithic usually refers to a *single deployment unit*. Multiple deployment units would usually refer to a distributed architecture

Sir, I want to listen to you daily, and you break my heart by announcing that you will give lessons once a month. Sir I saw your many tech talks in different channels. Could it be possible for you to also publish those talks in this channel so that it will be beneficial for all those who want to listen and learn from you. It's my humble request.
