Letting me know when the laundry is done, being able to turn off the light without having to get out of bed. But it's been like 10 years. Hello, Mark Rober. I am an engineer and computer scientist and I have been working with the US Government to develop these very defenses. I run a company which is developing a new version of the MQ-9 Reaper drone to combat mass drone attacks. I was understandably very surprised when I saw this video pop up and I am glad that the public is finally seeing the risk of these drones.
@sirsapphire34999 ай бұрын
I totally agree, but I think part of the problem was also lack of ability. I do think that there was a period where the public lacked awareness of the dangers of drones, but I also think there was debatably a period where the public began catching on but didn't have the ability to do anything about it yet. Thankfully, it seems that period is coming to its end as well.

My favorite part of the video was seeing HackPack. Considering the cost of an arduino nano or similar, shipping, all the custom parts for assembly, and the product support; this is a incredible deal for learning. My hat's off to you & your team Mark 🎉

@@Axl-Miro tbh you can buy the parts yourself. Just come up with any project idea you want to make, then get a list of components you'd require for that, and buy them at an electronics store or order them online. It's gonna be harder learning how to set it all up, since you'd have to go out of your way to look up additional tutorials and resources online, but it's worth it if there's no other way.

Have you seen any news about the conflicts going on in the Middle East and Europe for the last couple of years....Drones are scary stuff.

Anduril's anti-drone drone that just collides with them is brilliant.

Just install an auto-dodge system on the drone. With the detection of that drone and detection of high speed approach.

@@ArthurDYeah. And yet they call the system "flawless"... Easy way to beat the heavy hunter drone thing.

Anvil is better at hitting humans "like a bowling ball thrown 200 mph". Drones can evade it. Humans can't.

Using drones for carrying explosives isn’t a “possibility”, it is reality in some countries

It's been known for a long time that Drones could be used to carry explosives. Whats going on in Ukraine is showcasing how deadly and effective they are in action.
