They should bring back improvised leather clothing, also windstride's clothing pack mod fits perfectly for vanilla. They should add BIKES!. An sv-98 propietary scope. And a new bear hunting round, like .300 win mag, change the Savanna to that round and give us a new lever action with scope capability

apparently the issue with bikes is that they each count as a vehicle and so when you have 50 bikes on the map the server slows down

Cooking pot full of water. Add meat, bell pepper, mushroom, ect. To make stew. Creats heat and nutrition buff. Also boiling rice should make cooked rice. Being able to sit on benches would be nice, maybe even make sitting temporarily regain total stamina. A craftable rainwater collecter, like how barrels collect rain when open. Boarding up windows with planks and nails. Most building in general should be defensible and be able to be baricaded.

This!!!! Been saying it for years now why can’t they implement this into console! Pretty much I would love dayz to be like project zomboid obviously u couldn’t do everything like how project zomboid has but u can take stuff from that game and port it over if u can or make a new file for this stuff and drop it on the day of the new map and update that would be amazing it’s a pipe dream and bohemia prob will fuck it up somehow for console users but luckily I have a pc as well so I can always escape the bullsbit on console lol

The one thing I'd like to add is if your in a gun fight & your friend gets hit in the open, you should be able to either carry or drag him to cover. Same with a dead body so you can loot in cover. Would be great if you were part of a squad & they laid down cover ingredients fire for you.

I have always thought .... binos + hatchet gives you a Monocular + tape gives you a "scope" and can then add to any weapon - a really basic one but better then nothing.

I think to kind of restrict the M16 a little bit you can add the Colt 3x scope that directly goes on the top of the carry handle and you could combine it with the detachable carry handle so that you can put it on the m4 if you wanted to add rail handguard for the m16, fal, and aks74u, rail handguard (more like extender it goes forward of the existing handguard for the AS Val and VSS) Add the 1p69 3-10x scope that came out for the sv98 only, the okp7 and pk01vs red dots for aks/svds etc The only real gun I think that should be added is Beretta 1301 semi auto shotgun called in the game planned list as the m12 to be the in-between the 133 and the saiga

I had a "vanilla" server, and all I did was make some tweaks to features that were already there for the most part. Car spawns....they spawned with most if not all parts, but were turned down. Top tier weapons....spawns turned down but could be found at dynamic events. I added mods that just made sense without taking away from the core game....better suppressors, vehicle 3PP, and the "gas masks only" mod....which was probably my fav, actually. I balanced it out by only having like 5 masks and 6 or 7 filters spawn it at any given time.

Hi Mark's love your content. I was playing on your server 'survivors diary' and I build a base, very proud of my efforts and the server was wiped - I don't mind particularly, but I was wondering how often you intend on wiping. Because having lost my solo base, I don't know if I have the heart to build another base and see it wiped within a month or so. This is not a complaint, but I was just hoping to know if you have a timetable for wipes?

Unfortunatly the server had to be wiped because of the terrirories we added, I was trying not to wipe it but it was unavoidable. That being said it won't wipe again until DayZ's new map comes out as we will be changing to that map!

C+scroll for variable crouch height, like in tarkov. During a fight, it often happens that you stand too high or too low at a window or a cover. Having a variable crouch height would solve this.

Being able to add vegetation to the loops on boonie hats to make em look grassy and/or leafy. Maybe short sticks as the combining item. In real world you could grab leafy stuff or grass from anywhere but the game doesn't.

Honestly not a fan of the coloured rags used in this way but have wanted the devs to allow us to make flags into more than armbands, all the flag designs as face coverings &/or bandanas would be cool, a different way to identify teammates - loads of new civilian clothing as well, parka coats, new jackets, different trousers and updated styles of trainers & of course the main one, loads of new base building mechanics and resources, different styles of walls, roofs, hatches, windows, doors, gates, craft metal gates from combining multiple wire etc would be amazing, great to see the game just getting better and better in 2024 🖤

I want a new feature for when a friend rolls onto his back with a broken leg you can grab his rucksack and “inventory open” walk speed walk or crouch walk dragging him if out in the open and a sniper can’t land a follow up shot with ease. Taking two steps and passing out is ok, loot accordingly so you can stay in the fight with morphine or something, but DayZ is easily one of the least cooperative games out. So dragging a fainting buddy while his Gun UI is accessible would be cool. Anti cheat measures in place for cheeky folks and I think it would add to the immersion. Lastly, a new zombie type, perhaps zombie animals, reskinned, more health, “sick” zombies adding to the dangerousness of zombies again guaranteeing a sickness maybe. Also zombie swiping up and on top of climbable objects. This will stop the easily cheesable zombie attacks by climbing a car or box. What would you add that you actually think could be easily integrated and not break current functionality.

Other than the weird AR buffer tube/stock on the AK, most of the stuff here is pretty good. The tube on the AR-15/M4/M16 is actually a functional part used in firing the gun besides just being a place to attach the stock. AKs don't function the same way so it wouldn't make sense to attach one to an AK. Codelocks on tents is also a little silly if the server is going for realism at all. I would like to see suppressor changes that make sense. AK suppressors shouldn't be universal across the board. All the AKs run different ammo types so the suppressor used on each one would be different. Also adding the option to change muzzle devices (like on the Mosin) would be cool. Flash hiders and stuff like that.

The ACOG was designed to mount. directly to the carrying handle of the M16 so it should have been the only optic option without use of a separate 1913 picatiniy rail mount.

I feel like small mods like Advanced weapon scopes with the adapter rais makes such a big difference. I try to look for it on the mod list if I'm going to join a more vanilla server. Even if they have a lot of them disabled just to fill in the gaps like with the M16 and adding a few more scopes for both eastern and western mounting.

There are so many vanilla+ servers out there that it wouldn't be anything new. It would be nice to see how you set your server up though. I think inventory ++ is a must in DayZ for solo players that don't want to build a base.

In regards to the M16, I think having it be iron sight only is great. It makes it unique and gives it a specific role in the mid tier....*However* I do think there should also be another version, perhaps M16A4 or M16A1 which would be a higher tier version with a scope. We do this on our PC servers and its a great balance imo

Two mods that should be standard in the game should be the mod that allows a keybind to return any item in your hand, back to the save spot it was in your inventory. I think I had it as V, so any time you put anything in your hands, hotkey or from inventory, you don’t have to retab into inventory then double click it back in. Second is the offer/receive mod where you hit a key and whatever is in your hand, the arm extends and the other player see it as “take item” and then grabs it from your hands. Instead of just stuff falling out of our feet and and the ground. Just two QoLs I’d love to see in vanilla.

A camo net slot in a vehicle so you can park in the forest and cover the vehicle with a camo net. I'd like that added to the base game as i'm a console player. Also change the blue 3 dial locks to 5 dial and similar to the code lock mod once you enter the code it remembers you so you dont have to put the code in everytime, it's a bit tedious. And auto run would be nice.

I use to play on baby nades server when he had it up and it was like what you got here lil moded nothing to bad couple more guns clothing. But what did stand out is that it was on the cherno map but they customize it had windmills in open area's lot of over grown area made it look nice

I really dont like how the hybrid scopes work, if set your 6x to the red dot for close range. After using a sniper and scoping in you will switch back to close range and find your red dot is now on the 6x. Its got me killed a few times. Any chance of devs making scope settings gun specific rather than one affecting the other.

Fx I think balance argument in Dayz is a bit redundant because we don’t have create a class. We have to scavenge up all our gear in our play through. Asymmetry is a feature, it’s part of the fun trying to take down a geared player with an IJ and a BK133.

DayZ is going to add none of this Pc can mod it in, but honestly, they have such a close to the chest view on this game that we will never know what they are thinking or planning for the future. Even if they tell us, they change it. Take the wall on console. Add a wire, makes a game, can stand anywhere, even if the wire is not visible, anywhere. Barb wire, has to be damn near perfect. Why not make it the same so we can have an easier time. Ive made the suggestion for 2 years, youtube twitch and twitter, nothing. Paint or dye for gear. Code locks digital ones instead that recognize users, just in an out no exposure time

Instead of locks on Tents they should focus on locks on crates and other containers. Locking tents does not make much sense since you should be able to cut through with a proper knife within seconds. I mean it’s just a tent!

Please ad some sort of adaptors for aks so we can fit m4 scopes to aks. I could suggest a tweak to the stamina, maybe 30% less, in a way that it doesnt drain that fast or doesnt go away with weight so fast. Also maybe increase car parts and cars? I think that is a great part of dayz and it is laking on many servers.

4:10 The green version of the improvised clothing/rags should be a little darker in my opinion, it is too bright especially compared to the actual color of the green raincoat. It would be cool if it was more like the green raincoat, especially for camo.

Exotic gives you the idea it would have been something really unique , different or very rare and powerful compared to other rifles

Codelock on tents is just wrong, bring padlocks with keys in to the game and use them on crafted storageboxes and barrels.

Different rail/Picatinny(sp?) type things would be great off rip, make em scarce but add em so we have better options on different guns if you put in the work to find the right mounts. Slapping others on mosin for instance like in mods. And add the spectre or at least pilad or similar types to balance with the hunting. Just some more variety cus the current set of mid-long range optics in the game are getting way past stale.

Maybe, but the benefit of rag clothing is just the convenience of it and if you need to specifically look for a black raincoat it’s no easier than specifically looking for the mask/gloves/whatever you need instead.
