Mark.. pop the blue bearing seals off. Take a razor blade and run it on the inside of the seal and remove the excess rubber material. It frees up alot. Especially in the trans. Clean all the black grease out and use some bearing oil..

Mudboss is really an east coast class. Yes, some places out west and south run it. In the midwest we call it slash modified. And use a midwest mod style of body.

Cutting a spring always makes it stiffer. You removed preload but increased the spring rate.

with the spring in the front shock the spring was so compressed it felt stiff... when i cut it, it wasnt as compressed and had some springy action again

@@MarkSantaMaria yeah I get you, that was too much preload. But picture this.. uncoil a spring into a straight rod, grab both ends and try to bend it. Now cut it shorter and try to bend it again.. it will be a stiffer spring, cutting a spring ALWAYS makes it stiffer! 😉
