Side note for macros: Best to have /petattack /petfollow on damaging abilities and for times to reset, if you cannot decided which ones to use /petfollow on at least use /petattack on aimed shot, rapid fire, explosive, black arrow. Then have a separate keybind for /petpassive. I use /petfollow on Feign, Meld, Camo, and Aspect of cheetah, this saves time and my pet will go back on attack when i press an attack button

Bro they will not help you learn this game. They say Haste is worst stat but it’s basically grifting. You see without haste you will be staying in global cooldown. And they don’t want you to take the last talent in MM in the middle because they want your TrueShot to NOT be up for longer. Meaning you will only be doing damage with rapid fire and Master Hunter DOT. But guess what? DOT without Haste is a complete waste. Check your Details half of these talents give you DOT. Now do your math: the longer DOT stays the smaller every single tick is. More haste - faster DOT so every single tick will be a higher damage(since your targets versatility will not turn it into nothing). So now you understand when Dark Rangers main button is literally DOT damage you understand that Blizzard had an idea that you’ll be Hasty enough to land your arrows. Otherwise in arena you will only be casting aimed shots on procs and under TrueShot. But Aimed shot does less than 300k sometimes. Now imagine casting for 2 seconds and getting 300k instead of sending Arcane arrow and get 250k+

And one more thing: Master Hunter DOT does so much damage even without Haste. But there’s a problem. This DOT does a percentage amount of damage of the last special ability you’ve landed on enemy. Meaning that after landing a big hit your MasterMarksman DOT will apply a huge DOT, but every single time you send an arcane shot right after it’ll interrupt an ongoing big DOT and change it for a new one(now imagine your DOT was about to do 400k of damage in few seconds but only ticks ones and then new one overruns it and now your MM DOT is 50k). Tell me if it’s not clear at all I don’t mind explaining

I was looking through the top ranked MM hunters in blitz, solo shuffle, rated bgs, etc, and they all run considerably different talent configurations than this, I don't know enough about MM pvp to make a judgement, hence why I'm watching videos, but it did confuse me a little bit to see such a disparity

#showtooltip /cast [@pet,dead]Revive Pet; [nopet]Call Pet 1; Mend Pet It sometimes bugs out when your pet is dead but it generally works fine. You can replace Call pet 1 with whatever number your favourite pvp pet is. Good luck.

bis weapons are crafted, and trueshot pvp talent is NOT better than diamond ice. And every top hunter is going a mix of verse mastery and 15%+ haste , go look them up.

Idk if you’ve found your answer yet, but you need to kill mobs in maddraxus until you get the tome to drop. The tome allows you to tame undead beasts, pretty low drop rate.

@eugenesternin6039 you do AA It is easy to overlook because of other spell animation but you do AA There is a talent called locked and load that makes your AA %8 chance to make tour aimed shot insta

AA happens regardless of what you do so its always a flat % damage increase to have more attack speed. even when casting an aimed shot you still AA

Nah these talents are wrong. You should never be using Steady Shot, so taking the improved is reach. We don't need the focus regen. Unerring Vision on the bottom is way more valuable, and Kill Zone to wallhack through LoS can be crazy clutch in some arena maps.
