Nice artistic touch with the landscapes and such - I like to see that. Pretty hilarious to see those broken motorcycle parts continuing to compete after their unfortunate obliteration too lol. Couldn't you figure a way to shut those motors down if/when they crash out?..

Thanks, wanted to add a bit more and make it look better. haha yes those bike parts!! I did't use any motors, it's all freewheel and gravity. Most of the track has 0 friction, I think I added friction to the bike parts to try and slow them down but I kind of like seeing them flying along as well lol

Oh ok... zero friction, yeah that would explain it. I'm not 100% positive but I think if you have your ground surface set to 0 friction it won't matter what the friction coefficient is for whatever might contact the ground. Frictionless is frictionless - if that makes any sense lol. I haven't visited Algobox community in quite a while, but I've been meaning to get back there. You've never been? I don't think a lot of people use it like they used to - it's a few years ago but they used to have design contests and robot battles and all sorts of fun stuff. At the time I discovered Algodoo they were already done with that stuff, and it seemed like all the most active members kinda moved on. Even still, there remains a massive repository of scenes members have shared - and there are (were) some members that were exceptionally brilliant and innovative. You can download all the scenes you want, it's super easy. Then you can go into their mechanisms and really pick it apart to learn how they got it to work and such. You should definitely go check it out sometime! Probably the most genius Algodoo user I've found has a YT channel with really amazing builds. sorry, the link had put this comment in held for review. I think I stumbled across the Algobox community right at the start but didn't look at much. I'd also seen the dog but had forgotten about it, although the name stuck in my head!! lol That might be a British thing though!! I'd spent a few hours trying to get things to walk right at the start of my Algodoo journey after seeing this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/epfdn6GBitysrbM&index=31&list=LL_AZXYsNBNIbjGMJy7yBXKA I didn't get very close, might be able to do better now! There's a guy from Russia as well who does amazing stuff. kzbin.infoplaylists I'm not good at the scripting stuff, which makes some things a little tricky. Could probably save a lot of time on editing I will probably concentrate on the marble runs for now. Fridays views were double Thursdays (my best day) and I think today's will double Fridays!! Gained about 30 subscribers today!😃

Yeah YT is kinda weird about posting links sometimes. Glad you found my comment though. It's funny, I clicked your first link to open in a new tab and seeing only the title, I think I already know what video that is. Before I go look, I'm gonna guess it's the one from Disney that features a mechanical... leopard was it? All its parts connected by a gear train and it looks like it's running, right? That video inspired me too. As did Mori's. I also recognize the name in your second link: Kilinich. IIRC that guy is terribly creative - really imaginative scenes from him. I haven't started to learn to script in Algodoo yet either. Just a year ago I had zero experience with coding of any sort. Since then I've been learning what I can of AppleScript - and I don't think I'm doing too bad for a total noob lol! So sooner or later I'll get around to seeing what I can do with scripting in Algodoo. I'm glad to hear your channel is growing - I hope it does well for you. If there was one thing I would encourage you to do (which is totally just my opinion, so take it as you will) it would be to try to come up with your own style. Especially with marble races, as there are already many channels dedicated to doing that. The all-black racetrack, for example, has been done many times before. I would never try and tell you what you _should_ do - I can only tell you what I would enjoy seeing. And more that anything else, that would be for you to be creative, to be different. Best of all imo, is to be unique. Whatever you do, I wish you luck - and have fun!..

Algobox has kind of turned into a dumping ground for low quality scenes, it's quite sad what it has become. A large part of why this happened is because of the moderator system falling apart. The online version of Algobox is slightly better than the one in Algodoo, since the mods actually give the spotlight to good scenes. Anyways, there is one person who is quite excellent at Marble Racing, his name is Doc671. He actually posts his scenes onto Algobox, and has a scene on the featured list!
