I used to look at myself as what I was not, mainly not enough, lees than I should be. Now , more and more, I look at myself as what I am. A son of the King, a child of God. Completely forgiven.

Your story about the homeless man getting invited into a family actually happened to me! A pastor and wife couple did that just that for me and I lived with them for over 2 years! Now we are family forever!

Wow that’s amazing, I am in the same situation right now too. I got saved Sept 10th 2023 and started living with my Pastor and Pastor’s wife and I’m so genuinely grateful to be here with them. They saved me in several ways and I wouldn’t imagine it any other way

Keep seeking God. Keep showing up. Dedicated and sincere. God will appear. That wasn't supposed to come out as a poem, but it did. I thought God had rejected me for backsliding, believing perhaps I'd never been born again, then eventually God saw my heart and drew near. I kept seeking, kept trying to draw near. I repented in earnest, I wept, and I prayed continually. My thoughts (from the enemy) had me shaking and terrified, hopeless, panicked, and in utter despair. I truly believed I was forsaken and doomed. I don't wish that horror on anyone. Eventually, I felt rest and anxiety vanished. I saw the Holy Spirit changing my sinful proclivities, allowing me to control my behavior. I began forgiving, I began loving. Miraculously apparent changes in my heart. I'm not going to get into it, but God gave me a vision and that's what initially called me back. There's no mistaking my relationship now. No question of the sanctification process. No question of the Father's love. Read the word and focus on God's promises. God speaks to us through the scripture. Jesus loves us. And I love you, brothers and sisters. Don't listen to these demons. Don't listen to the legalist law condemnation comments. Don't give up. The Lord will never forsake you, and there's a reason why you're going through this. Keep going, beloved. (now I have to find a church fellowship, so the enemy doesn't pick me off in isolation)

I became a mother 4 weeks ago and I was in need for this reminder as motherhood has been the most difficult thing I've ever experienced as I have been dealing with PTSD from childhood and just getting saved out of the new age/ occult 4 years ago. For me it was very freeing this idea that we have to learn how to behave as beloved adopted sons and daughters, ie it is a journey that everyone must take, and there's no shame in it. I realize that for decades I have been carrying shame and condemnation for not knowing how to accept myself as a beloved daughter when I, too, accepted Jesus at four years old.

To be honest I sometimes have difficulties trusting someone here on the internet. Although, when I hear gods word being spoken, I know I can trust on that because I want to personally. Now it's following instructions and paying attention that is quite difficult for me to grasp at times! Showing compassion is not something that I'm quite particularly good at and even find it hard to find that for myself or become too arrogant to accept it from anyone else. But really been trying to accept gods love and even give it back and show it, I'm trying my best and that's all I can really do until it's time for me to leave this earth. I just have to do everything I can do here before I go and maybe one day hear something along the lines of "Well done, good and faithful servant!" - Matthew 25:23 from my lord and savior Jesus. - Thanks for hearing my Ted Talk 😎😂👍

Hi mark, thank you for your helpful videos . I am a very young/new Christian and am struggling to find my identity in Him. I yearn so much to connect with God, to grow and do the Lords will but I feel really depressed and lost tbh. My family are concerned as I’ve isolated myself and instead of the light shining, it’s pretty much gone out. I feel condemned due to my struggle with addictions. I know we shouldn’t go off feelings but I can’t help it. I know this is a process and takes a long time to grow but if I would only know I am indeed in Christ and he in me then I could move forward in so much joy. I hate this feeling, I wonder if my faith to is real and if I am in fact saved. I just need some encouragement as something is definitely not right 😞
