Love these guys. They are underrated and I wouldn't be mad if they won! If they went to Eurovision, it would be a bop and the best ever sibling/twin act we've ever had! The staging is fantastic!

From interviews, I know their story on why they are in Melfest and not MGP. The first reason is that they have for many years gone back and forth making their music in Stockholm. So they've worked with a lot of Swedes, are signed to Universal Sweden and have their management all in Sweden. They went to see Melfest live last year, and after getting many requests through official channels - a producer approached them in person. That's when they started to really consider the idea, and think that it made sense for them timewise, as they have been trying to get more into the Swedish market (Masked Singer, and other Swedish shows, etc) so they ended up creating the song with a team they were familiar with. This process likely started very early last year, cause they said that a few months later MGP came in contact, but by that time they'd already finished their song for Melodifestivalen. After that, even Germanys team wanted them to compete, which they had to decline. (They have been gaining more followers and listeners outside of Scandinavia in recent years). I've never been a follower of M&M, even though I am Norwegian. I obviously knew of them cause of how big they are, but never been a listener, but I do have to admit I massively prefer Air to Tattoo. It just feels more 2023, but I don't really think they have a realistic shot at winning. Which is a shame, it would have been massive for their further career and future.

My favourite by far. I remember when they won mgp jr with to dråper vann. Now they’ve really esablished themselves since then. Honestly this song for me elevated because of the stage show. It is more whole for me the song just goes with the staging and they are really comfortable on stage. I don’t think they even need anything more with the staging. For me the simple solution is the better one in this case. I have listened to that song on repeat ever since it came out. My favourite and i hope that they will come back some other year either to mgp or melodifestivalen. I think they would do great at eurovision ❤.

I think it could be a Tix/Keiino scenario. Almost sure Loreen will win, but dont be surprised if M&M will book and take the ticket to Liverpool

Nah, they can't win, Melfest's televote system is a lot different than MGP's and it's basically centered around age groups This has potential to do rlly well with younger audiences but that's it, while Loreen's has more general appeal. Not to mention Melfest also has the juries, MGP didn't back then

Not saying it's a lock for Loreen though, Maria Sur could still give her a battle because Swedes do seem to love a message song, which also has broader appeal and could swipe the votes of all age groups, from kids to elders. Air is my second favorite, but because of said system, I don't see it 4 them sadly

catching up on these after melfest, these guys were great! i agree that that ending is too abrupt, i hope they release an extended version with a final chorus with a heavy bassy beat 🤞

I think a big reason why they are in Melodifestivalen is because they won the Swedish Masked singer last year.

As a Norwegian is it all very interesting to me. I never cared too much for their music. But now when they show up with song i like in melodifestivalen is it really fun. I wouldnt mind them representing sweden this year. I will be honest though i do feel sweden this year is kinda boring with heavily produced songs. Loreen is definitely gonna do well no matter what happen though.

I don't understand why they don't sing together. One of them just stands there while the other one sings, and then they switch roles. The lyrics are very similar to 'No Air' by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown.

They're so big in Norway that they would've easily won, even against such a great competitor as Queen of Kings. There's however three reasons for entering in Sweden. The first one is probably the main reason they haven't entered in MPG in previous years. It's that they're already as big as they gonna get in Norway, if they had flopped, it would've impacted their future career and reputation in Norway (much less so when competing in Sweden). The second reason that it's just practical as they now record all their music in the music hub of Stockholm. They've moved on from Norway to pursuit an international career and so they and their record company are based in Stockholm. The last major reason is that they're only really big with kids and teenagers in Sweden. By going for a more grown up sound when entering the comparatively bigger Melodifestivalen they're trying to broaden their base and attract mass market appeal across Sweden as they've already done in their home country.

i think another couple of reasons i saw were that 1. they were offered the song by Swedish songwriters, so those songwriters might have wanted it in Melfest 2. I think they won some reality tv show in sweden recently

I also enjoy this really a lot and even think this would have a shot for the top 5. anyways I would love to see you reacting to smash into pieces - six feet under which is my favorite. it is by far the best rock song I ever saw in melfest so I'd be really happy to see you react to it, they are also a quite known band and their entry also was certainly hyped but loreen was also there in their heat so it got overshadowed by her of course!

This song get stuck in my head in a way that Tattoo doesn't. Reminds me of Darren Hayes in the 90's. (but a modern take and two voices of course) I think Loreen has a bigger chance to win in ESC though. But I like them both. Like you said this would get top 10.Maybe even a little better than that....not sure.

Marcus & Martinus are extremely popular amongst the youngsters and have been for years. If all of them vote they have a high chance of winning. I really like this song, but I hope Loreen takes it. She has a better chance of being Eurovision no. 1.

I’d rather keep watching Loreen performing for ESC. That staging was so fresh and dynamic and engaging. It would stand out amongst the rest. This feels very typical though. I actually think Six Feet Deep is better competition for Loreen

It feels to me like they’ve been going through the last decade of Swedish melfest performance of slick guys like: Eric Saade, Måns, Robin B, David Lindgren etc and just copy n paste! The beginning is Eric in 2021, the lasers are David’s and the song!? Well typical radio friendly and boring. We have seen it before and heard it before!! Thank you but no thanks 😎

Ok You know what I'm going to say here Tom, don't you. This is good.......VERY good! But lyrically PLEASE! You can't dress up " i can breathe without air"..........er...no..YOU CAN'T!! That is so annoying.... As a finished product, how can you criticise this. I do think you're right about "boys with lights" though. Overall, this is so professional, so polished, so over-produced?.....so Swedish......and that is not meant in anyway as a sleight. Not a winner for me but well done lads. By the way , don't they look so like Stephen Gately......or that just me?

Ehhhh...this song is a copy of eric saade every minute. Look at his performance..it stole the concept as well. To be honest , its the same songwriters , they probably just recycled the song with new lyrics🙄
