Nice video Markus, showing the ropes. Tip for all. Before picking up the hostage off ground, spam your swap weapon button and pick up hostage at same time. Your weapon will be in hand and can shoot. May take a couple times to get use to it but a solo life saver on hostages

that first tower, is kind of well known.. its hit or miss you will find both weapons still up there.. additionally, that spawns a "HVT" contract, and it will be smothered in Tier 3 armored Bots, hard to kill with a 3 plate and solid weapons in the first place. now, from the top of that tower, you can "float" to the top of Police academy, and very often an Orange crate is waiting for you.. you can find 2plate stealth, 2 plate med vest, medium pack, decent gun, occasional self revive, and always check the bags up there, as they to, can have some loot.. easy peezy. you do want to be sort of geared up for an active combat zone, and have at least a medium backpack, so you can snag a 3rd weapon.. and maybe loot for cashing in or missions, upgrades, etc, or armor plates.. lol..

You should do a movement specific tutorial. That's the biggest way I've improved since starting DMZ. Dodging and weaving around AI, dolphin diving off cliffs, jiggle peeking, etc

Correct, and you can determine if its a players Mortar or PA based on how many hits it does. AI Mortars only drop 1 cluster and 1 air strike. Players drop 3 clusters and 2 air strikes. 👍

Hey Markus, i love your videos bro. You have always have solid advice for Solo players. Do you have any advice for a solo spawning just north of where you did at the beginning of the video? I always die to the team who spawns just to the East of construction site because you're essentially blocked in and they can immediately push/trap you on the Eastern border of the map?

Bro have an easy process to just get Damascus tags. At that point a tempered with all the perks is the best setups. As of now all 5 of my operators have Damascus. I’ve noticed my “staying alive” has gotten so much better. Only downfall is it takes 2hrs or so per operator but lots of loot and stuff needed for upgrades along the way.

The particular setting you're referring to is called "Field of View" or FoV. Mine is set to 120 the maximum amount which gives the visual impression that things are faster.

Riot shielders are awful because the "shoot the pistol hand sticking out" trick, well, 50% of the time, it works every time ;) As a solo, I would never trade a 2 plate stealth vest vs a 3 plate normal vest for 35k. Large backpack also too expensive, get a scavenger backpack for a battery, canned food and 3 gun cleaning oil, don't need the 3rd weapon anyway. Last night I had a spawn in an active combat zone in Marshlands, lots of orange crates, no special nor 3 plate vest, no medium bag, AI aggro and reinforcements all on me. Awful. On al mazrah there are only those 2 weapons and the random ones are bad. On Vondel there's a lot more.

@@GZRBangBang THANKS. I normally run my audio a about 40%, but I had to turn it up to 70% to hear THE ringing, but then that makes everything else TOO LOUD! I know I have a hearing problem and the ear doctor's tests shows I'm a little tone deaf, ESPECIALLY with high pitched sounds but that ringing sound at 9:00 is very high pitched! You could say I am almost totally DEAF at that frequency!

Markus, have you considered going a little lighter on the compression of the gamesound ? Its pumpy sound can be distracting and keeps the action quite far in the background for me at least. Very enjoyable to watch nevertheless. I'm a stealth vest proponent, so a two-plate stealth is my best bet if I'm roaming around a little more.

Is that Tac there every time? I’m gonna go in to almazara just for it I think that build is actually better than the golden version you can find on the bookshelf. Edit: I don’t like almazara because of all the pvp. The pvp people are the only thing I dislike more than a riot shielder. I don’t want to pvp I’m just doing missions unfortunately all the modern warfare people are coming on just to find people like me who obviously are trying to avoid them and don’t have a stealth vest. It’s really annoying. It’s funny when they get wiped but really sucks when I’m mid mission. Wish it wasn’t like this. Really makes me not want to play when I lose my exfil streak. The people I’m talking have toxic motives and know who they are. Nothing worse than asking that type of person to revive you just to save an exfil streak. You know you are gear less , weapon less , money less and can only hope you can exfil this way it really defeats me wanting to play again.

@@MarkusGGEZ REALLY!??! How many folks do you honestly believe are working on missions? I spawn in with randoms all the time and not one of them is there to do any type of mission. Every last one is there to hunt... true, DMZ is alive, but not alive the way it was intended; you know, working your way through missions with PVP and PVE. Now its all PVP and the PVE just gets in the way (according to those that spawn in with me.) I'm there to do missions, but it becomes quite difficult when 90% of the lobby is hunting... I'm all for the PVP, it's necessary for DMZ to thrive, but not like this. All that said, I DO love your content and appreciate what you do!

If you go to an active combat zone you can usually find much better weapons which you decided not to pick up: MCPR (in the air drop), M4 (in the orange crate), MP5 (orange crate). You can upgrade them later at the workbench if you don't buy the vest and backpack. Also if you pick up one of the 3 following keys: post office, US embassy, ATC Tower, take a look at the map if the pyro is there, you can get a tempered vest and KV Broadside for free if you kill him. If you spawn close to the airport or shopping centre, you can go directly there as those places have a lot of orange crates even without an active combat zone and you don't need a key to get in. It's also worth keeping an eye for bartering ingredients for the special vests if you have them unlocked as often you can find them faster than a 3 plate vest in an orange box (and no need to waste money).

I would not consider any of those weapons to be better than the 5 attachment Taq-56, but we all have our preferred loadouts so that’s totally okay. Also the main point of the video was to get a full free loadout (5 attachment sniper, and 5 attachment rifle) without any requirements. Heading to the Active Combat Zone was an extra part for just gearing up to a 3-Plate and Large Backpack. 👍

I do agree that fully kitted Taq is better than any of the ground loot weapons. What I meant was fully kitted versions of the weapons that I mentioned, which you can get with the money from an ACZ or other places I listed. I find those methods more consistent since the Taq and SPX are very often already gone before you get to the high rise building. I do get that's not the point of your video as it's not as fast but it's just more reliable and yields better loot for regain.

Personally I don't think of Koschei as a good regain place due to the complications involved in going there. But, to each is own and I respect your choice and dont deny that it is viable!
