A tip if you want to farm SCs with randoms players, if you see a public session in difficulty 1, and has one or more double digit level Helldivers, it's very likely they are farming credits, so feel free to join in.

Edit: What I found out is checking player level in active missions on trivial difficulty. If they are in double digit, it is likely an SC farmer. Join, ask if they farm and if yes you found a group to farm and open bunker doors with.

I always do lvl 2 and in 80% of the maps there's the radar tower as the only secondary mission which reveals all the points of interest within a minute. Just spawn in the middle of the map and check the horizon.

By the time you have found the lidar station, waited for the tower, and began the map. I have already cleared a trivial map and dropping to the next. Its about 4-5 mins with a full group. Getting 3-7 sc per drop.

@geronimo5537 i solo, so no. I'm not a factory worker. Just doing casual runs without goals or stress. Finding the station is just a couple seconds on most maps. And raising isn't that long. May seem like it for stressed out people maybe 😉

@@DutchGuyMike While I fully agree that you should support the devs and I even put that as one of the tips (Tip 14: buy super credits and support devs) you also need to realize that if farming super credits was truly a detriment then Arrowhead and Sony would nerf or remove it. You must know that the developers are fully aware of what can and cannot be grinded in the game especially when it could directly affect profits. These things are always accounted for especially when backed by a big and potentially greedy publisher such as Sony.

Something that nobody ever mentions is the fact that if you choose a main objective like destroy illegal broadcast, you can just shoot it from across the map and complete it. That way, as far as I know, when you abandon the mission it will still count as a win towards liberation, the same way it would if you ran out of reinforcements. I get wanting to farm SC, but if it costs basically nothing to go from being a detriment to liberation to a small positive bonus, I don't see why people can't just say that it is indeed an option.

SC farming should just not exist, because as long as it is the most efficient way of getting SC, players will continue farming and optimizing the fun out of the game. The current SC farming situation is clearly a product of a rushed SC progression system. It simply makes no sense that playing diff 10 you get 20/40 credits per hour, while farming level ones you can easily get 600. Low level farming should not be a thing AND there should be a feasible way to get warbonds in a timely manner for free. I think it has a relatively simple solution imo. The worst part of the current system is that if you are medal capped, it feels horrible to keep playing to get the SC you are missing while "wasting" the medals. My solution would be to give 1 SC per 10 medals if you: -Are medal capped -Can't buy anything more -Are below 1000 SC Having that, and reducing SC spawn chance according to diff would be fine imo. Something like 25% of current at diff 1 up to 100% of current at diff 6 for example. Actually, they should just think of better rewards from capsules, containers and such. Half of them feel terrible (ONE sample, 500 requisitions, a random support weapon, which for some reason includes weapons that need a backpack)

You're absolutely right. I farm for credits on easy but I always complete the mission and extract. I feel like a traitor otherwise. It's also a lot more fun especially when solo. Which is most of my games at the moment. Most of the objectives on easy are super quick to complete anyway.

I found going for maps with a little water on the edges (like up to 1/4 water) because they have the same number of samples but on a smaller landmass making farming faster.

Bonus tip: Only deploy onto maps that are circular like the one at 2:30. Deploy close to the extract and work your way clockwise or counterclockwise back to the other side of the extract. This will ensure you cover all possible POIs as efficiently as possible.

When opening the container with the fire barrels, you can use the cross bow by aiming at the tip of the rock on the upper left side of the container. Opens it every time without igniting the barrels!

UAV recon booster and scout armor does NOT work with POIs, it`s a common misconception. It buffs the radar that beeps on mini-map and spots all the enemies close to you as red dots, but the question marks for POIs pop up on a compas always at 75 meters fixed

I`ve tested it for myself, diving with and without UAV recon booster and measuring distances for how far question mark appears, same with scout armor. I guess the only use for it is stealth gameplay, so you`re able to spot enemies before they spot you :/

Most pois have enemies on them. So the booster does help you direct to them.

You can actually find hidden POI on the map without being near them. This trick doesn't work on the first map you do when you log in because of a bug, but you can move your curser around on the mini map. When you hover over a POI, it will let you know. It works better when zoomed out because the curser will cover a bit of extra ground and require less precision. After awhile, you'll even be able to recognize which spots are which before you head to them, because they visually appear on the map. This trick is what's used to find the super samples in higher difficulties, but I imagine once you start to recognize bunkers and vaults, you can hop into a map, collect those quickly and dip, saving yourselves tons of extra time and work. Then you just have to keep an eye out for the vessels along the way to maximize your runs.

A tip for boosters, other good alternatives are the Experimental Infusion (especially when pared with medkit) for more speed when you stim, and Expert Extraction Pilot which reduces extraction time by about 30 seconds

Honestly, I just like to drive around with the FRV and I love that it lines up so well with super credit farming. I can just open a trivial difficulty map in a mostly flat biom and have fun driving around and basically passively gain super credits by doing so.

I found Illuminate city maps work best for farming, party because I've been told they have more POIs, not sure if that's true or not, but what I do know is that they don't really have any large bodies of water or anything like that to worry about. The larger cities CAN eat up POI spawns but it also means you can just drive around and find a few pods or even crates and bunkers in there. Another thing is that if you open the map and move the cursor around, often you can find the POIs and tag them without even being in compass range. Not sure how or why this works, but I think someone said it's only on PC idk. You can also just look for building shapes on the map too.

​@@vipertoxic8593 no. Hovering poi works with all armors. You don't need scout armor as is does nothing for farming purposes. I just farm in the white truth enforcer armor because drip. However hovering doesn't really work when you just loaded up the game. Sometimes for 1 run, sometimes for 2 or 3 runs.

If you bring a car I highly recommend sticking to 1st gear for high levels of control. 2nd gear is way faster but you're going to have a much harder time with rough terrain.

2:24 as far as i know, a bit of water is fine (just like the map you just showed) because it pushes the poi's closer to each other, what you do want to ignore are maps with big pools of water or where half of the map is just water because the water can block poi's spawns. but like i said, thats all i know, and all i know is another youtubers words

The radar scans created by marking the map while wearing Scout armor will only reveal enemies, not POIs. On Trivial difficulty, extremely few to zero POIs will ever have enemies present. Scout armor doesnt really contribute anything on Trivial difficulty SC farm runs. Bring the extra stim light armor, otherwise whatever you have with the highest maximum speed and stamina regen.

Tip when it comes to buddy bunkers and checking what’s inside: instead of diving and glitching to look through the door, just ping the door. Whatever is on the other side will be marked in the area you point. Probably a bug, but it works.

Easiest way to remember what biome to proritize is moon and all deserts. Scout armor does nothing for farming purposes. Just any light armor for speed really. Just use a crossbow to break containers. Just aim above at the rocks and you wont break the explosives. Much faster than trying to call in other stratgems other than the car and/or jump pack.

Here are some more very useful tips : You can also recognize POIs on the minimap, and if you move your cursor on those, it will even say that there is a POI there (shows that only after doing the first mission of the day, a weird bug which is there since day 1 I believe). Some never give interesting loot, but you'll recognize the ones which are useful after some time (bigger ones usually). Don't spend time doing the Radar Station if you find one, it just takes too long, it's not worth it. The type of mission you select matters for the map to not have water and useless places, and also, if you see lot's of rocks on the map when selecting a mission for example, better to not pick that one, because it's way more annoying to move around and there are less POIs. Try to find a friend to play with to get those bunkers, and if one of you find a bunker, it's sometimes optimal to have the other one suicide to be immediatly called in on the bunker. I find the car to be useless on most of the maps as it is junky to use (bumps and jumps everywhere, enemies see you easely, etc. || on flat maps it's fine), as POIs are most of the time always close to each others. + You're fast, and even faster if you have the Experimental Infusion booster, which is the best to farm because you always recovers your stims on the POIs, which makes it more useful than the Stamina booster (and which then makes the car almost useless). Light Scout armor is the best, especially the green one (which is even lighter than the one shown in the video, with the classic black&yellow colors because it's faster), or the blue one from the Polar Patriots warbond. To be just a tiny faster, you can use the Exploding Crossbow, the Grenade Pistol or the Impact Grenade (I recommand that setup btw, except I prefer the Verdict for the secondary to deal with the enemies that see me, as it has a good handling, shoots, kills, and reloads quickly) to destroy those wire meshes (instead of climbese these, or walking around if those are tall). If you don't have that setup it's absolutely fine, just having the impact grenades is really nice as these explode immediatly. It's also a fast way to farm medals if you need medals REALLY fast, because it's faster than just doing missions casually. Some more useful tips I didn't talk about have been said in the comment section, so check these out, and watch the video, with that you're PERFECTLY ready to farm SCs :) Oh and have some music which you like in the background to make it less boring as well.

I find farming more productive on Easy rather than Trivial. On Trivial I could play 3 missions in a row and was lucky to find one lot of super credits. When I switched to Easy difficulty. I suddenly found I was finding at least two to three bundles of super credits on average in every map.

This depends on your luck, with a margin of error up and down, especially since 100sc drops are a thing and they're not quite as rare as people think they are. 1/100 chance may seem like only a 1% chance, in reality you open so many things you'll get it more often than you'd think

My best farming session was when I played on Easy Martale, picked out the light gunner armor, a jump pack to traverse the map faster and the stalwart to deal with bots easily while still moving, stamina enhancement is preferable as I can just eye out radar stations in the day and the POI's. I returned to my ship with a total of about 50 super credits which was my best run that day.

I'd just loot as many POIs as possible without going super out of the way. You'll usually end up with 30-60 SC per mission unless unlucky.

There isnt any quaranteed number, but once you're on the mission its way faster to look for more POI's rather than starting a new mission. 2 easy ways to find them is look on the compass for question marks and go to them or hover over the map over spots that look like buildings or other landmarks and see if "point of interest'' text shows up next to the pointer, you have to play 1 mission before it does that tho as it seems to be a bug. Also try to learn the useless landmarks that cant have any sc, examples are craters and kind of flat spots that are usual graves or weapon/ammo containers. And if there is a streak on the map it's usually a crashed ship and they have salute boxes that might have sc.

Farming SCs stay away from 9 and 10. The objs take up the map and you can have no minor POIs at all to maybe 3-4 depending in the biome.

Farming super credits 3 is the absolute highest you should go. Because rare samples start spawning in place of supercedits on higher difficulties and it's the biggest thing that limits the gains.

It was possible to open the bunkers solo by using the mech, you backed the mech up to the doors and exited the mech directly into the bunker, then to get out you get back into the mech again. I’ve no idea if they patched this though tbh maybe someone else knows.

I just take scout armor to see the enemy movement to either avoid or ambush , separate from my team and go on for an adventure. They don't kick me out cuz i got dozens or dozen of samples and earned them buttload of medals and super credits. Its easier when your team takes the heat. Sometimes i find none medals or super credits just samples and pews i don't need but sometimes i got 50 to 70 super credits. And i do that on dif 6-7 cuz three divers can handle the horde but its painful at 8-9-10 but 8 isn't all that bad if you got a good team or friends. The most ideal way is playing with people on discord and splitting team to two so you can open bunkers when you find them instead of fast travelling a diver via reinforcement. You drop at extraction and work your way around the map then rendezvous at top then clear out inner sections and extract. Also squids are the best because the spawns are almost identical and you can memorize the pattern and loot the entire map with only using a single brain cell while you're drunk or under the influence of "medical" drugs or both.

Btw don't think by leaving the team i don't contribute , i can single handedly clear heavy outpost and do the secondary missions and earn the second sometimes first place on k*lls. Because outpost and secondary missions have the most sample so don't leave an outpost when you destroyed it if you or your team need samples.

@ if the entire team is lvl 10's at dif 7 or 8 then yeah i stick to them and try to give them sup pews but i usually bump into lvl 25-50 sometimes lvl 150's and 150's are literally one man army they don't need help because they are the help and its not because their level but their warbonds , a good warbond is a game changer

Any location that has a small crashed ship can have super credits. I've never seen super credits laying around at farm, so if so I've just been unlucky.

Rank 150 here with my 2 cents . Farming SC specifically is not the most efficient way to unlock everything. SC unlock warbonds, but you still need medals and most of - samples to actually effectively use the weapons and armor you unlock. By far the best was to do this is play normally on Diff 6-8. This lest you find SC every game (or almost every game) and medals, samples as well. Make sure you loot everything and extract in 20 minutes. This nets you around 10 SC per game. So in 100 missions, you can buy a warbond. Take your time and learn how to use these weapons and upgrades. If you play 100 missions a month ( 3-4 per day) you will unlock a warbond once a month. Some warbonds are better then others, so pick up those first. Final note nobody mentioned. Patriot Warsuit is the best thing for exploring the map on Diff 7. It walks faster then you can run, has plenty of ammo. Keep mobile , have fun and loot everything.

I just buy them now because I have a job and just like to play the game regularly and don't have allot of time so I want to spend my time playing actually playing and not running simple missions simply for the credits and samples. with samples I find I get enough just playing regular matches.

Me watching despite owning everything already, with nothing to gain I still go out of my way to collect every sample I see even when solo, even if the sample icon from a drop teammate contains 1 green sample, I'm going through hell and back just to learn it's deep water (also I think it's more fun to just get as you play rather than speed rushing samples)

Ok, let’s analyze this. Here and other videos claim roughly 500 SC per hour. Do some math and buy 2100 SC for $20. SC farming saves you roughly $4.20/hr vs just buying them. I think most people’s time is worth much more than $4.20/hr. My time on this earth is limited, and I personally would MUCH rather be playing the game vs farming SCs.

One thing I like about HD2 and AH in general is that the game can be played just fine with the standard warbond. Tons of people get bent out of shape because they NEED to unlock the next warbond and buy all the items on day 1. Guess what? The warbonds don’t go away.
