Thanks David! I have not reviewed it, yet. I think it’s great, have used it a ton. Beautiful voice, great playability, decent set of vowels and other tools to use. Maybe the reverb gets a bit too dense right out of the box, but easily tunable or replaceable.

Vocalise 1, 2 and 3 are on sale now. About half the price. I will probably pick one but hard to choose. I will probably go for 3. I mainly want good vocals for chords and single tones. Not phrases. Do you think 3 is a good choice for that?

Hard to specifically comment on those use cases off the top of my head without looking, but 3 is hands down the best, most polished and complete package, so I would strongly recommend that one!

How would you explain the difference between Vocalise 3 compared to 1 and 2? Is it just an improved version of those or do they all have their own unique sound/or functionality?

Great question. There's definitely a general improvement in productional quality and polish as you go from 1 towards 3, but they're all high quality libraries. They all have a similar core essence to them, but with unique tonal/textural qualities, perhaps going from colder to slightly warmer. Functionality/content is different, I think 2 added rhythmic pedals, and 3 drones and soundscapes. They all have different vocal phrases, so I'd spend time listening to those from each, if that's a big deciding factor for you. 3 is definitely the most comprehensive and my favourite so far, and I keep 1 and 2 on hand if I need to dig further for that perfect vocal phrase. Hope that helps!

I don't think so. I haven't gone through all the phrases and atmospheres, but I don't think anything in there would fall under that category.
