My Thank You to Cara

Relationships are powerful and can change the direction of your life. Photographers, camera and video gear lovers, be careful who you choose to be with. Choose wisely. Some people align with you and empower you, while others hinder you and drain your energy and life force. You need to be you, so be sure to find someone who lets you be you. Cara is the perfect example of someone who fully supports and empowers. let this be not just inspiration, but also an example of what is possible if you hold out for the right stuff in your life. Stay strong! It's worth it. For anyone in the photography, video and camera world, especially those who have GAS gear acquisition syndrome, will really appreciate this video. Camera gear is fun- you, all those cameras, lights, light stands, grip equipment, lenses, and hopping back and forth between Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Lumix, Nikon, Samsung, full frame cameras, APSC, crop sensor, micro four thirds, one inch and even dozens of camcorders- it takes a real understanding partner to be ok with all that. Photography and camera gear is fun, but having someone who is ok with all that is the real joy!

Cara seems like a once-in-a-lifetime partner. She's charming and lovely. In my opinion, one of the most-important factors in getting great portrait photographs, is to have a beautiful model. Man, Markus, you hit the jackpot! She's beautiful, and she has an awesome physique. You two both look SO YOUNG! It's so beautiful to witness a couple who is perfect for each other and love and respect each other the way you two do! It reminds me of my parents. My Dad has been a professional photographer since the 60s. My Mom and him were perfect for each other too. And yes our home was filled with gear especially after Dad sold his brick and mortar photography studio and another property to his partner when Mom got a Cancer diagnosis. She supported him all those years and he did not hesitate to be there for her. We took care of her until she passed away in 2015. Dad and I still work together on photography jobs and I take care of my Dad who will be 80 this year and he's still making a passive income from his photography.

This is without a doubt the BEST video you have ever made Markus. I followed you for MANY years now and bought at least two of your books and many other things. And I recommended other people to buy stuff from you, which they did. I relate 100% with everything you said - that's exactly how we (my wife and I) live our life. We have no children, no animals - just the two of us. I also uses the word "flow" many times. Nothing ever stays the same - we live in a constant changing world. We must adapt to that, or die. Just flow through life. No resistance, no nonsense. Life is life. I was very poor many times and once slept in my car, too, but we do better now that ever before! But we also know everything can change, again. Then we will just get up, again and do whatever it takes to move on and start again. Fabulous message. Thank you, to both of you! 🥰
