Cara, I used to use that veggie wash. But now I discovered that soaking my cucumbers and veggies in a bowl of water with a heaping tablespoon of baking soda works just as well. I soak the cucumbers for about an hour.. Then put them in the fridge and use them as needed. Baking soda saves me a ton of money too. Hope this helps. You look amazing . 🥰

There are actual wild blueberries that are the same variety but these that you buy are cultivated. I love this channel! You and Markus are such an inspiration. I did not go plant-based until about 2 years ago and it has been an interesting journey. The last year and a half plus has been very challenging economically especially, and even though I find myself unemployed and with a food stamp card which barely goes past 200 per month, I try to buy and eat the healthiest things I can find. I tell everyone about the healthy life and Marcus's product line and ebooks! Sadly most people I give the information to don't seem to really care about their health and are certainly not going to stop eating meat and dairy and wheat, much less raw vegan but when they die they won't be able to say I wish someone would have tried to teach me about this. As soon as I am able I'm going to buy Marcus's wild Greens powder and vitamin c and seaweed formula! If his health company accepted EBT, I'd buy it with the ebt! 😁 Thank you for all the safe advice. I'm 52.

I am confused about one thing though. I read the description below and also watched the video twice but I couldn't figure it out :P Do you drink one jar of that smoothie before the gym and the other jar after the gym, and then make the same smoothie again around 6pm? Or do you drink a little bit of one jar before the gym and the rest of it after the gym, and then drink the other jar at 6pm? I couldn't for the life of me figure it out, sorry. I'm so glad you did this video though! Thank you! I've tried the high fruit, low fat, low protein, raw vegan diet and it just seems to screw with my digestive system, I've always loved nuts and seeds and lentils and they make me feel great. I'm going to try out your highER fat/protein version and see how I do. I also weight train and lift heavy so maybe this will help me reach my goals :) You are an inspiration Cara, both you and markus! Thank you both for putting out all these free videos, recipes and love! ♡
@MarkusRothkranz4 жыл бұрын
She drinks a little bit of smoothie before the gym, one full jar right after gym, then a salad, then the rest of smoothie as desert around 6. Everyone first goes for the high fruit diet because everyone is drawn to the sugar addiction but it's not a balanced diet. It should be called the high sugar diet lol. Fruitarians end up losing their teeth, hair, eyesight and all have hypoglycemic mood swings. Look at all the fruitarians attacking each other on the internet while the greens-eaters are all mellow and calm lol. Nothing wrong with fruit, but it should not be the ONLY thing people eat. Everything in balance. Every cell in the body has a membrane made of fat holding everything together. The brain is 80 percent fat. The hundred miles of myelin sheaths protecting our nervous system is made of fat. Sugar cross-links proteins in the skin and accelerates aging. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIe7pJuPq8tpr68

@@MarkusRothkranz Ah okay, I get it now. I never would have worked that out in my own haha. I wasn't doing an ALL fruit diet but I was following a more 80/10/10 highER fruit, lowER fat/protien diet because that's what everyone seemed to be promoting, and while I do really like SOME sweets, I honestly prefer fats, protiens and greens over sweets just like Cara. I guess I should have listened to my body rather than listening to others, but when you start out you listen to others cos you don't know what you're doing, you know? 🙃 I'm very glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and what you have learned with us Markus! My biggest issue has been dealing with crohn's/colitis on raw food, it's pretty painful.
