Not really. The two Bluetooth speakerphones I use are quite different from the BOYA lav mic.

important to know echo canceling only works when connected by USB and not by Bluetooth.

Absolutely no comparison. But.... I didn’t hear the (probably useless) test of the lavalier at 1m distance. I know Toastmasters clubs struggle with expenses, but in hybrid meetings you need to pick the right tool for the right job. I bought a double lavalier (Boya as well) for when you have two people on stage. That’s fine when you’re recording, but as it occupies the headset jack, you then can’t hear from that device when the microphone is plugged in. And, on my laptop, when the headset jack is occupied, Bluetooth is turned off. Time for a new laptop?😳😬

The lav mic test is in the video at 4:21. And let me guess. It's an Apple laptop?

@@LisaGelhaus Wow, that's a weird feature! On my 5-year-old ThinkPad the Bluetooth certainly stays on even if something is plugged in.

By "post processing" the volume after the recording were done in Audacity, you've effectively defeated the purpose of the test.
