Hey, thank you so much and good to hear about your upcoming trip. Thank you so much for getting a copy of my guide and I hope that it helps you throughout your visit. Enjoy your trip!

Hey, good to hear from you. Firstly, I grew up traveling with my parents, and living overseas, so after graduating from University, I really desired to continue traveling and seeing more of the world. As for affording it, I make all my money online now through selling my travel ebooks, freelance writing, and a little advertising. Yes, travel can be pricey, but it can also be affordable - I'm sure I spend about the same amount as if I lived in a stable location.

Hey Donald, Yes, I've been wanting to do some longer videos - the main issue is simply that it's tough to make a video that long that can hold the attention of viewers! I'll probably try to do some longer, more reality show type videos, and experiment with those! Thanks for your advice!

Hello, I visited Ayutthaya last year. My friend and I, we booked a day trip through a local travel agent, not sure of their name sorry. For $15 US, we got a bus there and back, a tour guide and lunch. We had time to explore each temple site, and then we got back on the bus, they took us to the next one. Was a very professionally run day. We had seen Ayutthaya day trips back here in Australia, that would have cost about $90 US, so to get one for 1/6 of that cost, we were amazed.

"Unprecedented Human Rights Violations" Study Room

The cheapest and most scenic way is to take the train from Hualamphong station in Bangkok. It costs 15 Baht, about 50 cents. I was just there last week, I miss it already..
@CuriousCouple8 жыл бұрын
train in the cheapest, but u can also go by mini van (Microbus), costs 60 baht/person from victoria monument, and they will take u to the tuktuk stand. from there u can rent tuktuk for 3-4 hours, or u can rent bicycle (40 baht for a day/person). top 4-5 wats (temples): Wat phra si sanphet, wat rachaburana, wat maha that etc and autthaya historical park each cost 50 baht/person.

Hi Mark Wien, I found your direction to Ayutthaya is insanely unhelpful. We looked around for ages for a stall to buy tickets to Ayutthaya. Finally, We found one lady was extremely rough and all she wants is money from us and not things else was explained by her. When we are in Ayutthaya, you did not including the Tuk tuk or another way to go around these temples. It will be nice to be included in your guide or video clips. It is fine when you have plenty of money to blow, but with ones that have budgets and travel with kids. This is a big surprise. In saying that, we met extremely friendly and helpful Thai people every where we go. There are so many Thai people asked where we were going and helping us out. So that has been making my day less horrible.

+Kevin MIchael hi Kevin, I was one of his frequently watchers. I thought his video was great till that day walked around Victoria Monument bus station to look for a van to go to Atutthaya. I had one young son I found it was in fair for lacking of direction. I was not cheeky, I was honest and straight forward. Hey, good luck with following this video clips direction to get to Ayutthaya by van and the 38 degree of Bangkok. We ended up catching a train for 20 bath and avoid the traffic.
