I certainly agree. To add, it's unfortunate that she was stymied from being all that she could be, in that time. Lear was absolutely pushing an agenda for the abject denigration of the black female. They didn't want to see the surfeit of equity in her, even though the black community did.

@@luvbig41 lmao. Nah. O.J. was just O.J. He probably hired someone to kill, and was just too close to the action, like when he went to get his stuff back. He didn't have to be there. He should've had his homies storm the place, but he was all in the middle of it. Front running it since it wasn't murder lol. Anyhow..he wasn't doing anything behind the scenes but just being himself. Cosby, however, was trying to make something for us. And it's sad how they did him..but what's sadder is that no other black person is stepping up to do something like that. The closest thing we got is Jay Z trying to weasel himself into the NFL.

Marla Gibbs,looks fabulous🌹I would watched the Jefferson's when I was a little girl in the 1970s. And 227 when I was a Teenager. We had so many iconic Black Sitcom Shows,during the 70s,80s and 90s. Sadly,those days are long gone🤦🏾‍♀️😔

*Jefferson's got cancelled because it got old and jumped the shark, back in the day whenever you had a "Hawaii" episode, your days were numbered because the writers just ran out of material, Brady Bunch went to Hawaii, Sanford & Son went to Hawaii, plus times changed and you couldn't say the things they said on TV back then.*
@jmjfanss
@jmjfanss 4 жыл бұрын
I know it jumped the shark, but the show should have gotten a series finale the way mash did and that is fucked up, the same way trutv did south beach tow almost 6 years ago.
