MOST USELESS SCORESTREAKS In Black Ops 6

To put things into perspective. It used to take 7 kills for an attack helicopter back in CoD4. Now it takes 6 to 7 kills for a counter UAV. The napalm strike back in Black Ops 1 was 5 kills, now it costs 9 kills and it just isn't as effective. Finally the chopper gunner from Black Ops was only 9 kills, now its 16. In laymans terms, there's zero incentive to play TDM this year as you simply won't be earning enough score for any of the high steaks.

Yeah... it'd be pretty lame to get a chopper with 6-8 kills. I'm not great by any means but thats simple fish in a bucket. How is it fun when it's that simple? But then again I couldn't care much less about score streaks in alot of cases it takes away from TDM

Man in bo3 it was like 700/800 points. You also have to consider that in this game there is strategist. Which is like bonus point. Add financing (150, so streaks cost 1 kill less).

That's a really accurate streak ranking, I tend to run uav, cuav, Care package, and can get near constant streaks in if I'm paying attention

Yeah, I have oldbrain so I can't really go toe to toe with people like I used to in college. I do like the randomness of the care package though, and the serotonin hit when you get something good is incredible. I usually use UAV, CUAV/Care Package, and Hellstorm as a treat for if I'm doing really well.

Absolutely love the care package. It’s pretty much the only way I will be able to consistently get to use the higher streaks. Run it with UAV, CUAV, Dispatcher, Strategist and then Bankroll with Perk Greed and you will keep getting them all match long. You’re pretty much guaranteed to get something good every match. I’ve gotten multiple chopper gunners and dreadnoughts this way, while I would have no chance earning them straight up.

The HARP being able to be shot down is stupid as hell as the SR-71 Blackbird which the streak is based off of (from my understanding) was literally so fast that it matched the rotation of the earth meaning that at the time it was in service that it couldn't be realistically shot down by aircraft, it had so many stealth attributes to make it basically immune to countermeasures and SAM sites as it was nigh un-targetable and in addition to that it basically flew along the atmosphere, meaning that seeing it alone from the ground would be a gamble, and shooting it would be a pipe dream. (Any plane nerds who want to correct me go right ahead)

I will just say that historically one blackbird did get shot down and it was by Russian aircraft. Definitely not by some soldier and his service rifle.

SR-71 is fast, but the Soviet MiG 31 "Foxhound" had a pretty realistic chance of shooting it down. After a Foxhound locked onto an SR-71 in 1986, the US stopped flying missions over the Soviet Union. It was extremely difficult, and apparently the Soviets only had a 16 minute window to get the MiG 31's into the air to have a chance at catching the blackbird, but it was possible. Also, SR-71 was "stealthy" for the time in that it had a reduced radar cross section, but the Soviets could still pretty easily pick it up on radar. But yeah, shooting it down with a MANPAD like you can in BO6 is pretty ridiculous

The reason why , from mw2 2019 forward, is because nowadays players move waaaay faster. Before, you would see a ping and depending where you were it would take 5 seconds even for a shorter distance. These somewhat balanced the streak because although you can see the position, with you being slower, it meant that the enemy already left so you just had a general idea of the enemy position. Now, with slide cancel, tactical sprinting, bashing doors, not stamina and fast hopping, a 3 kill uav would mean first that there would always be 1 uav on, both sides. Second that it would pretty much mean the perk to not bee seeing on uav mandatory. And finally, every uav ping would mean that in a second you would have an entire army onto you, making the game even more erratic and fast. Changing the score was good change that better fit the current mechanics and speed from the newer coda

My question is why did they make it so slow. Make it 30-40% faster and then it would actually be decent. Problem is that most of the lifespan is spent driving to get to the enemy and they can just run away from you when they see it on their map. Especially in something like hardpoint where the zones flips traversal is just ridiculously long

I really miss the BO2 scorestreaks, especially Orbital VSAT, K9 unit, and Swarm. Once a team got those last two, it was a guaranteed win.

My main issues with Bo6 scorestreak and with Scorestreaks in general over the years is that you just cant switch them midgame. Imo some scorestreaks are objectively better in certain gamemodes than others. Clusterstrike is much much better on Hardpoint or Domination but trash on kill confirmed. And imo it makes little differnce if we let people switch midgame vs make people que for a specific gamemode 24/7 to earn their killstreak badges. (Id have gotten my clusterstrike badge alot faster if i could have just switched to it when Dominaition/Hardpoint was the gamemode)

On mobile you can put sentry anywhere I even got alot of kills with it get another sentry and put it again somewhere. I love pairing with stealth heli like that one heli you mentioned on Warzone. Airstrike is also great on mobile.

The scout pulse is like a worse version of the personal radar from 2019 Sure the radar could be shot down, and sorta revealed your position by flying in your area, but at least it lasted multiple lives You can die before putting your radio down and your pulse is gone, only lasting till you die

I got the top killstreak (I forgot what it's called - the giant bomber) via a care package on nuketown. I got 21 kills with it 😂 Care package is worth having and seems to be more random than in previous games. Mortar strike is pretty useless, although my vote goes to the archangel, due to the fact you'll likely be killed while piloting it.

I hate how useless the Sentry Gun is in BO6. It has awful tracking, low damage, and pitiful health….what were they thinking? The LDBR would be significantly better if I didn’t have to manually target the location, just let me use the laptop like the Napalm Strike.

The care package is absolute trash because the maps are so tiny and the spawn points are so fucked, every time I call one in, I get flanked or the enemy spawns right next to me. I've also stolen 6/8 care packages I've seen due to the reasons I mentioned above. The care package should be called gamblers package because what's inside is random and it's a gamble if you'll even be able to recover your own package.

I think most of them are useless. I’d rather use the 8 attachments with gunfighter perk. I use the red perks in all three slots so I can get the enforcer bonus perk. I used to play with dispatcher and bankroll so I could spam, the personal ping, uav and counter uav.. that was fun.

Because of the killstreak economy the only "High Cost" one I ever run is AGR as it feels worth it. Its no Jug but its as close as your gonna get. Even if you die once using it. Still mad the only time that Jug was reintroduced was ghost. And both versions were Trash. The Maniac Suit was 1000 times better. And it literally forced you into Melee Only.
