I still feel like Price should have been the one to die. Mainly because the reveal of Yuri knowing Makarov is pretty underwhelming as the last words of a beloved character. Not to mention that all it does is explain why Yuri is against Makarov.... so meh... What should have happened was: Yuri and Soap rushing to save Price from the explosion, where they find Price bleeding out. They carry him to the checkpoint and on the table as he is dying, he gives Soap his M1911 (the same gun Price tossed Soap to kill Zakhaev) and before he dies Price says "Finish this." The final mission could have very well ended as a throwback to Modern Warfare's ending: Yuri is killed distracting Makarov, however this gives Soap enough time to pull out Price's gun and shoot Makarov, but not killing him... yet. As Makarov lays there on the ground, bleeding and in pain, Soap slowly walks up to him, steps on his chest to keep him still, puts the gun to Makarov's forehead and says "This is for Price." And he shoots Makarov in the head, finishing the war both him and Price had fought since Modern Warfare.

Modern warfare 3 has the greatest ending and conclusion to a video game trilogy that I've ever seen. Seeing makarov hanging corpse was one of the best and most satisfying moments in video game history. Take notes mass effect 3 and the witcher 3 that is how you end a video game trilogy!!!

It'd be cool if in the next game IW makes its kind of a sequel to this. I imagine captain price living somewhere far from society and the game opens to him hunting a deer and after you kill it and bring it home these agents are waiting for him. They start asking him to go on a mission and he declines or something, but I imagine they'd convince him some how. It could be cool if they did it that way.. and not add any gay twists or stupid things that make plot holes. I just want a simple game where I'm playing as an old captain price, rounding up the few remaining survivors of his old team, and doing good things for the world one last time. It'd also be cool if the agents that hire him equip him with a young soldier that is very up to date in terms of combat and as the game progresses captain price teaches him about things and how the world really works. It could be a cool relationship that helps price get through all the pain he's faced throughout the years and in the end of the game Price could have an honorable death and with the wisdom he gives the young soldier, his memory will be held forever. I don't know tho, these are just ideas. I would like one more game to end the series, but I don't necessarily want it to be MW4. I just want it to be a single game to finish the story of Price off well, no sequels after this one!!! I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this.

That sounds really cool actually. I like some of your ideas although i disagree with Price dying, because if the game came out this late and he died it would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe its good they stopt at MW3 because i dont think they can take the "threat level" any higher but im not sure. Although im not against a captain macmillan sniper spin off lolol theres so many cool ideas to do even with a MW4, but in terms of execution it could go horribly wrong especially with their writing today.
