Awesome lure mate, glad you decided to use the blank. The one you used was Tasmanian hardwood. The other has a higher chance of floating as it’s Balsa. I do show the process of re coring them in some of mine, the center doesn’t hold up otherwise. Again, awesome work mate 👌🏼👌🏼

Nate. You have absolutely no clue how nice it is to watch your videos. It gives me the chance to feel normal again. Ive never heard you once speak of elections or pandemics or riots or lockdowns, or anything like that, watching your videos makes things just seem more normal. It's a huge relief to not hear someone ever mention anything else, just a really talented bait maker, doing what he loves. Your a great person, keep it up buddy, your doing way more then just making baits with these videos.

I believe turning made the piece more balanced than mere cutting to form from the start. To much patter change in the raw phase to hand cut or saw cut.

Does that lathe have speed adjustments? Judging by the "chunking" it needs to be slowed down....or your tools sharpened and used with less pressure.

You should ask the owners of the North Star hunting preserve ( not saying their names on chat ) if you can fish In their lake they have tons of crappie bass and pike an walleye would be a great place for a fishin vid!!!!!!!!!

Thats a great pond setup. Aerators, lights and 2 feeders. That pond has to be loaded with healthy fish. Cool looking bait and it definitely works. 👍

Those colors and the corn cob pattern is amazing, looks like a vermillion rock fish after it has been scaled. These need to be produced somehow, I love this bait.
