I have a seemingly unending supply of real chipmunks in the backyard, uprooting trees, undermining building foundations, and so on. Killed hundreds (pellet rifle, traps, etc), but more just move in. Maybe I should start capturing and selling them for fish bait.

@@dwightstewart7181 oh stop being so dramatic. Chimpmunks don't do any of the stuff you claimed. Just live and let be.

The coolest thing about watching your old videos is seeing at what point you picked up various techniques, tools and sayings. As well as when some of the more iconic baits (such as the chipmunk and shark) got made.

Even though you way younger then me ... you take me back to hanging out with my grandpa! He owned LTD fishing lures. Supplied k mart sears and Montgomery wards with walleye spinners... a simple blade on mono with a crawler hook. 100 k a year he was always in his basement working on them , but his passion was musky fishing and making musky lures ! I’d sit And sand for hours on balsa wood baits. Ducklings muskrats loon chicks huge 16 inch chugger spit baits. Walleye and perch bluegills and white and black crappie anything that swam in the water where musky swam he made. I made frogs with latex rubber tubes for legs. Many days sitting with him making balsa wood baits so relaxing. I have most of those baits many with war wounds from muskys from long ago.

Wow that bait is sweet I really like how you hid the hinge. So many baits are made that would be great if they took the time to recess the hinge instead of leaving them exposed. They loose the realism. That is what sets you apart, your attention to detail and willingness to try different things. Awesome job.
