I've watched all 3 classes several times and today I bought the pattern so I'd have it handy. WONDERFUL, socks! Thank you, Rohn!

Are you able to provide the total stitch count for the heel? I was feeling pretty confident for the previous sections because I could check my work with the stitch count, but I'm having a little trouble with the heel.

Thank you for sharing such an in-depth description on these socks. I’m having a lot of fun working this project. Can you/someone please tell me how to determine when to start the increase for the gusset?

For some reason I keep ending up facing the incorrect side when I make the decreases for the heel turn. I get down to 8 stitches but I end with my hook on the left of me, not the right. If anyone can help PLEASE do. I've been able to follow everything else up until this point.

Following the video along with the pattern on the website. The 2nd foundation row for the heel doesn't say to skip the slip stitch, just that you sc into each stitch.

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I am doing the crochet and the knit sock a long in the same yarn just as something fun to do. This is my first time creating socks but y'all make it so simple to follow along. Kudos to you and Marly!

I like how you addressed where people got stuck in the toe. Can you clarify a little more? When one size moves to the foot, does that shift all the other sizes over one? For example, when size 6 moves to the foot, does the size 7 move outside the parenthesis and the other numbers shift inside the parenthesis? I’m doing size 9 and my stitches were not matching up when I got to rounds 8 and 9 in the toe portion.

Nice job of explaining Rhon, but for us newbies a closeup view of the beginning row stitch placement on the gussets n heels and also a little help on how you change colors so effortlessly would be helpful !! Thank you !

You don’t have to change color :) I will give him feed back on the close up. Thanks.

Hi again, Another question for you. How does one convert Marly's pattern, which uses sock yarn, to a pattern using sport yarn, or DK yarn? Do we need a whole different pattern for the different gauges? Thank you, Gail

Hi Rohn, I'm trying to follow this first crocheted sock pattern, only I'm using worsted wt. yarn - Bernat's crafter's cotton -- so no written pattern to follow; only watching what you do. So far I've been able to follow you. I stopped the toe increase when it was big enough to go around my foot (which is a ladiy's size 9, narrow), and I went on to make the foot as you said. I'm now wondering if there's any way to make this 2nd video louder because I have my computer and KZbin turned up to 100%, and still your voice is very faint -- difficult to hear at times. I do thank you very much for making these videos.

Very much appreciate the free pattern and video but its difficult to see your stitch placement on the wedge section and I can't get it right. Some close ups and slower work would be great.

Lost my beginning of round marker from part one, where do I best put it? Is just on the right side okay? In the video it looks to be a few stitches toward the center.

I cannot figure out how to do the 6 stitches down the side of the rows. I cant see anything you're doing and its driving me crazy. It's making me hate this pattern.

You’re easy to follow but it would be more helpful to see when you use the tool to describe what you’re doing to put the camera over what you’re describing. It’s easy to hear u without seeing you. I follow up to that point. Love you’re teaching and descriptions. Have really learned a lot!
