Probably the most iconic images of the serial were that of the small boy Lokesh, I was around the same age at that point. Creating the 'andru' section from the point of view of the small boy was a master stroke since everything about the story(including Karuppa) was based on his experiences as a small kid. Never understood it as a small kid ofcourse but they are very vivid even now. Also the acting was brilliant by Lokesh. He probably had close up shots more than everyone in the serial and he pulled them off brilliantly

I am Marmadesam serious fan. I named my Son Nanda as Devadharshini calls Dr. Nanda character ( Mohan Ram ) beautifully. Hats of & 💓 to this team. U all are our 90 s kids favorite. Naga Sir is a genius in making teleserials. Thanks to this serials producer too for investing money in such good projects. The level of curiosity goes for each one week around, so as what is going to happen next..... Today's serials are totally garbage. Can't even withstand for more than two minutes. Naga Sir, please make more serials or a film like this. And thanks to Indira SounderRajan Sir too, for penning this masterpiece. Audience rasanai is always good. They will always appreciate good things.

@@MRV555 there was 3 different marmadesam series i don't know the exact name but i know the plots 1.) Based on lorry killing people,2.) Vidathu karuppu 3.) Based on tree. And chidambara ragasiyam. All were my favourite during my childhood.
