If you have a musical keyboard that is MIDI compatable, you can pug it into your computer and run it in the program that is in this vid (Sinthesia). There is a mode where you play the note like this, get points ect.

Oh well that's not too bad. I'm a pianist that's played 3 1/2 years and is self taught and from my experiences, all you need to do is find which notes are played together at once and take them as chords, only they are several octaves apart. For any notes that are off beat, that means there is a swing to it, and trying to pinpoint that beat is impossible. The best way to play in a swing feel is to feel it. The main obstacle for me is my left hand. It needs way more dexterity to play those notes.
