My 7 Steps every night: 1-brush my teeth in circular motion with a regular brush,2- dental flosh w thread between each tooth, 3- interdental brush between each tooth 4- brush my teeth again in circular motion in the inner, top and around each brace 5- waterpick( VERY IMPORTANT) to remove lefttover food debris around brace or between teeth, 6- tongue cleaner 7- rinse with ACT mouth wash. It takes me 25 minutes but its worth it anything to avoid cavities eww.

Gab DIY have even had braces?!?!?!? When u first get them on they hurt for like a week!!!!!! And I recomed that u just suck in ice and eat ice cream and soup because that helps me alot when I first got my braces and when I get them tighten. And make sure u get a water pick because those things are my holy grail😁😁😁😁 so u don't have to floss cause with braces flossing with string is like fighting with satan.😈😈😈 I wish u the best of luck!!!!!

Well this comment was a year ago but- This lady isn't saying very god stuff. You only need 1 brush and some flosses to get the job done. You should floss after every meal instead of brushing (brushing after every meal is VERY bad for your teeth) if it's just a snack all you have to do is rinse and if it's a thing you know are very sticky and stuff do floss where you see it. Brushing for takes 30 minutes for me, only at night bcos I'm very busy in the morning. You first brush where the gum and tooth touch, then the top part of EVERY bracket, then the front, the bottom of the brackets, the bottom of the tooth, behind the tooth, do that for both sets of teeth, then use this little tree brush thing in the space behind the wires, floss, (get that tongue too) and your done. You probably don't have to do alllll of that but I like my teeth extra clean before going to bed to make up for the morning. Anyway, hope that helped!

ArtisticCc Zone it is sore for the first few days but they give you dental wax if the metal rubs and hurts apply the wax to the braces, eat at the back of your mouth because you don't want to push the food up and break the braces

My dentists recommended using a proxabrush after a regular brushing routine if I am having trouble reaching all the surfaces of my teeth due to the wires and brackets. Its small size and flexibility will help clean under and around braces.
