Wonderful churches, thank you Marq for sharing this! Amazing how old that pub is! Nice windmill and old gravestones. All the best to you from Massachusetts!😊⛪🌲

My late father used to drive to Kent via Goldstone before the M25 was built, such a pretty ride. Again I've never stopped. Fascinating story about the pirate and I bet the olde pub could tell you some stories! Lovely churches thanks to Angela for showing you around St Bart's in Burstow. Don't know Horne so will have a ride out there

Love the churches. I don't really mind grey weather. The pub was great and the food looked nice to.

You really are stepping back in time with that Pub.

Yes, it's amazing these places still exist after the last three years, but encouraging as well.

Another enjoyable video - I like to go around churches & 2 here. Thanks to Angela for showing you around the 1st one- you miss so much without a guide. And then I like to visit a pub or two as well! So this was doubly enjoyable and such an ancient pub with a tragic history! Thanks🙂

Excellent, Marq - thank you for getting inside Horne Church - I’ve never found anywhere to park! St Bartholomew’s is also the name of the parish church in horley (also medieval origin) - must be unusual to have two parish churches with the same name so close to each other!

I thought that a bit odd too.

Skull and Cross bones on a grave does not denote a pirate. It is a symbol of death in general.
