After the race on Sunday in Valencia, Lorenzo admitted in the post race interview in parc ferme that his rear tyre was destroyed. Marquez could have overtaken him at any time in the last few laps. Probably Dani too. Marquez raced at half his ability on Sunday and I reckon Dani could have won the race. HRC and Dorna stitch up.

I am from Spain and here we have a very profound and "ancient" passion for motorsports, specifically sportsbikes; and you need to have a special set of balls to go to the media, in front of very sided sports journalists (which are pretty much all of them in this country) and defend Rossi. Fonsi, for the demolishing facts and explanation that he showed, and being a former motogp rider (Spanish BTW), leave anyone willing to know who is who in this nonsense, without the shadow of a doubt... Por esta misma norma, después de la primera carrera nadie debería pelearse con los dos primeros... No se debe dejar de pelear porque el rival se juegue "más" que tú. Porque luego serían muy distintas las primeras carreras que las últimas y además, en este caso, sería Lorenzo quien se podría haber quejado. The only respect Marquez need show Rossi, is to not make him crash. It doesn't matter if he is fighting for the championship. Every rider on the grid is fighting for HIS best result. So should everyone just stay home because the title is between Rossi and Lorenzo. How about ALL THE other riders that have finished between Lorenzo and Rossi! +joseph brown Marquez was fast like Pedrosa in the first lap, than he decreased his speed intentionally to let Lorenzo run away and than to block Rossi, this was quite evident. One thing is to fight for the position another is slow down intentionally another driver who is fighting for the championship. You can be aggressive, make mistakes but Marquez was evil, he planned everything subtly. Moreover, you can't find a driver who behave so bad in the last 20 years, thats a shame for MOTOGP.

That's not factual. The MotoGP website listed their lap times neither where as fast as Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Marc lost the front going into that last corner and JLO got through then he did the exact same in front of Rossi but Rossi couldn't capitalize. But they where lapping extremely fast even in the battle. Rossi lost 4 seconds I that same lap he took out Marc and no one behind was even a threat. You can't speculate what their mindset was because you nor Rossi can read Marc's mind. You can only go by the lap times and what they said. I want to see Rossi win the world championship. He IS MotoGP. But Marc should still be able to race Rossi as hard as anyone else on track. Your mindset is like saying ,everyone mathematically out of the championship fight should just stay home. In which case JLO would be leading the championship because of more wins and only finishing second.

He seems to be honest at first, but then he talks about the kick which then be came clear he is biased towards Rossi. First, Honda have found the fall is due to a locked front wheel which is caused by excessive pressure on the brake lever. Second, Rossi do not need to kick the bike to make Marc fall, all he needs is to press on Marc's front brake or the handle bar (acts like lever, especially when the bike is leaned over). Third, If Rossi did no kick Marc then Yamaha could show the data on Rossi's bike during the crash and if there was no sudden change in weight on the front and rear wheel on Rossi's bike then it will proof Rossi did not kick Marc as there is no weight transferred. Although Yamaha is saying the penalty is too harsh but they have not show the data on Rossi's bike.

+alex l the break have a protection, Marquez hand is on the break, to say that Rossi touched the break with a kick is very unlikely and just illation, the reason of the contact is Marquez. Both bikes where very slow going with the same speed and suddenly marquez accellerate hitting Rossi. If Rossi was able to touch the brake eluding the brake protector must be a magician.: Weight trasferred is bullshit since Marquez touchs Rossi of course there is weight transfer. What is clear is that the collision happens because Marquez torward his bike to Rossi accelerating. Otherwise is not possible to have impact. Who was looking for the impact was Marquez and the reason was very clear, Marquez had nothing to lose, his purpose was just one: do not allow Rossi to win the championship. Marquez hitted Rossi even before the incident is a very dangerous way. If Honda is so sure about telemetry they can show it so we may see why Marquez accellerate to hit Rossi.
