Asalamu alaykum Sister! I'm very happy that I came across your video because I'm Muslim and I needed to hear this from an Islamic perspective. I have been with my husband for a year now and it wasn't even a year and I found him liking women's videos and pics on Facebook. Sending them messages trying to have sex with them and flirting. It was several different women and none of them looked like me. I'm African American with light skin and he's Nigerian the women were also African too. I have never experienced this from a man before and it has caused me to spiral out of control with insecurity. I check his search history, his messages, his friends on Facebook etc. I can't stop. I wake up thinking about trying to "catch him". Wallahi I feel crazy and I'm asking you for some help and tips about how to deal with this. Even now when I check his search history on Facebook I see that he's searched for other women. Please assist me if possible. Shukran

Do you have a problem with the fact that he doesn't want you to have male friends or speak with males?

Asalam alikum I personally think that jelousy doesn't just happen it gets created people put jelousy inside u first by controlling u and setting limits for the wife and then for the husband it's like they can do whatever they want no one is stopping them. It's ok for the husband to flirt with other women and work with them and HOW DARE should the wife talk to a non mehram. Men stare at women and talk about women all the time and if a women did that she would be commiting a sin. I know in islam they both wrong but these cultural people think boys can stay out and earn money and lock the wife at home doing the baby sitting job. when most of the time men come home from bad influence from people outside and look possessed after ĺooking at the filth outside and on their phones...

Wa alaikomos salam, it's very upsetting when there is a double standard. Islam teaches both the men and women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. Insha'Allah you can heal from the double standard you have seen.
