People are soo bold there are some people in church who tells me that I should not wear my wedding ring as I am divorced...but in my heart I know that I should keep it on until my marriage is restored.

Agree with you sister! People have conformed to the world now instead of God's ways. We arencrazy to them but the truth is we are obeying the LORD. You and your household shall be restored for the glory of GOD!

I have felt deeply embarrassed as my marriage has deteriorated. More so, when I am out and see others I know and I can tell they are around me discerning what’s going on. Many people look at me like, “What is she doing with him/“What was she doing with him?” There was even one person who said to me, “Well, it lasted longer than I thought it would. He will not be able to get another good woman at his age, women can see through him and what he’s truly about.” There were things that should have stuck out to me as red flags prior to marrying but I didn’t think they were a problem and everyone we worked around (my husband and I worked together in the UK) told me not to marry him (if not outright then indirectly). One person decided not to attend our wedding altogether because of how strictly they felt about it. Looking back at these facts is indeed embarrassing. BUT I have chosen to place more focus on the three beautiful children I have from the marriage and keep my head in scripture more and more with the passing days. Let’s pray for one another.

God can restore what the enemy has stolen from you and when God does the restoration, it will be for HIS glory. I'm glad that you are focusing on the LORD right now. This is a sign that GOD is working in you. Glory be to Jesus and I do pray for all standers and the wayward spouses in Jesus name. ❤

Keep praying, keep the faith & continue to believe in God. Visualize your marriage your husband being delivered and set free with restoration for your marriage. I had a similarity. I’m now standing and through Jesus my husband is going to be delivered, filled with the Holy Ghost and restoration for our marriage. I’m believing in my God who can & has worked miracles in my life. Live for God and see it come back together for his Glory!! Blessings on you sister!!!

I for sure threw away my ring. My mother (without me knowing) went through my garbage that I had in my room and grabbed it and saved it. This was back in 2021 I believe? It was literally a few months ago (I think June or July) that I saw the ring on my aunt’s finger (her right hand, not left. She likes to wear jewelry). The next day she put the ring back in mom’s room and when I noticed it was on my mom’s dresser, I took the ring back. I keep it on my key chain for now (I know God has called me to wear it, but it still feels weird).

I struggle so much because he’s constantly lying and still with the ow and she said she’s not going to let me and him get back together and be happy. It’s gone on for so long and nothing happened to them, they go church like they doing right. I just feel like God just leaving it

Stand on the truth in God's Word. If you are the first wife and he your first husband, the covenant lies on you and him. They are living in rebellion. I implore you to seek GOD continually and pray for your husband. Declare the Word of GOD over him. Declare that he will seek GOD first and HIS Kingdom and everything else will be added to him- Matt 6:33. God will never agree with their falsehood and just as you are hurt, it hurts GOD even more because people are rebellious. I pray in Jesus name for the Holy Spirit to comfort you in your struggles. Believe me that this will end. ❤

Are you going to stand on and believe her word or the Word of our Faithful Father God? Speak the solution and not the problem, because you will believe the thing that you speak. Through this season we must not go by what we see because that is the trick of the enemy. satan wants us to recite what we see so that we come into agreement with it and then he can run and set it in motion. he knows that there is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs18:21). So be cautious of the things that you speak. Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on your husband. Trust God whole heartedly and rest in His promise. Know who’s you are and your identity in Him. Do not get weary in well doing (Galatians 6:9), for He is faithful. I know it can be painful, but God is the healer (Isaiah 53:5) and He is the only One that can make you whole. Romans 4:17 “17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Be encouraged friend. And like Phea said, if he is your first husband and you his first wife, God is a covenant God and honors and blesses that covenant only.

Im not sure about the whole ring thing. There's some pagan roots involved with it, and honestly, what purpose does it serve? Inwardly, we know our hearts still keep the covenant with God and our spouse, but on the outside, it's just a piece of metal.

@@casseophealejarde-khaizenHello sister, I had a beautiful new ring, and other diamonds.Prior to my joining a Pentecostal church, I asked the pastor what about my ring. The pastor stated act like you are married. There are married couples wearing rings and still don’t act like they are married. A ring in my opinion now is man made. I do not wear my ring or any jewelry because the word speaks about jewelry and my church, which is apostolic Pentecostal does not believe in jewelry. I know I’m married and I carry myself as a married woman and as a woman of God.

@mattieslaughter5382 I stopped wearing jewelries also years ago. I gave them away. It is true that the wedding ring is man made. We do not see in scripture that married people wore rings. Thank you for the insight. I learnt something new about pentecostal belief.
