I got married in 1987 as I was about to walk down the aisle, I heard something say "don't do this" I was not born again so I did not know what it was. I turned to my wedding coordinator to tell her what I heard, and she said it was just cold feet. We got married and nothing we touch would work out. Could not get a car nothing. After Cheating and other things in that marriage I finally left. Once I left, it was like something lifted I was able to get a house that I build with a builder. My children and I was able to travel, I got born again just everything happen for the good. So, I don't know the bible well enough to give advice, I can only tell you what happen to me.

I got married young due to being convinced I needed to marry to not fornicate but I felt heavily convicted the day of the wedding. My life was ruined and I suffered abuse and infidelity because I ignored God and payed attention to the pastor and everyone else’s opinion . I really messed up big time because of my ignorance. We are still legally married and he is in a relationship. We both have committed adultery being that we have both been in relationships while married . I genuinely didn’t know how much I messed up until now . I’m now seeking a divorce and am deeply repentant and would like a fresh start .

Am a living testimony that God has a specific plan for each and every individual because he clearly warned me not to get married to my fiance who by the way once used to preach the word of God so powerfully. This teaching is truth. Seek God first for his best. Because you can marry someone that will bring nothing but HELL into your life. No matter how nice you are or how righteous you may be, sometimes Satan can use lukewarm Christian man or woman to destroy you and you will be worse off after marrying them than you was single. Pastor Ewing, I always come back to your teachings. Thank you. I know my deliverance story is long, but I will try to share part of it here. I was 23 years old when I married a man I believed was my man-ignoring all the "NO" I received-recalling the day God sent me back to that man's house to call off the wedding and return his engagement ring. He cried tears and pleaded with me not to walk away. He wanted to end his life if I was to return him his ring. I was crying, too, for it was the first time I felt this was the one, and I did not want to be the cause of someone's death. I was in love with his way of playing the bass guitar. I remember walking away from him to return to my mom's house feeling down. Deep down in my spirit, I knew he was not the one. I ignored that gut feeling.3 months before our marriage date, my sister called me up and told me a dream she had. Warning me we needed to be compatible. She warned me that man was going to drag me through hell. Believe me when I say a spiritually blind woman in love is a big accident waiting to happen. I felt like running out of the blue one day before the wedding. I looked at my wedding attire and said this was the devil working on my insecurities. Ooh my, oh my, half an hour before the marriage was to be while fixing my makeup, I heard an audible voice tell me he was not the one. My grandma and auntie walked into my dressing room and told me not to think about running away. This experience taught me the importance of listening to my instincts, and it's a lesson I carry with me to this day. My significant other had travelled over the ocean to be my husband. I got married to him half an hour after that pep talk. One week after the marriage, he looked at me and said I had made a mistake. I fell in love with your voice, but you are not my ideal partner. I did not want him to deforce me, so I vowed to help him see that I was the right Mrs. see I was born again. I spoke in tongues and praised and worshipped the leader. I am smiling now, but I experienced living hell from that moment till God delivered me. He had no work as he was aspiring to be a superstar. I did not know he had drug abuse problems. I did not know when a strange man stood in front of us at a grocery store that that man was his dealer looking for him to pay his debts. He wanted me to walk away and not hear what was happening, as that was the day I happened to have got my pay. I paid his debts. He started seeing his ex-friend and told me explicitly how disgusted he was with me. Sometimes, he would beat me in his sleep as he was battling his demons. But my faith and the guidance I received kept me strong. Lord knows how I stayed by his side for 8 years. I was at work when I had a vision of him fornicating on our marital bed and rushed home to meet his ex, running out like one who was running for the hills. My illness and hospitalisation marked the beginning of my deliverance. The following divorce brought relief and a deep sense of peace. Today, I am married to a faithful man, and the contrast with my past is stark and comforting.

I believe every word spoken here. I got married even tho I prayed and was specifically told no by GOD not to marry this man. Shame and disgrace has become a normal thing in this marriage. He asked for a divorce that I was more than happy to give him just to turn around and beg me not to divorce him and use my respect for the WORD of GOD against me for trying to divorce him. This teaching was for me. Whole heartedly every time I pray about this marriage it is clear as day that right b4 I get confirmation to divorce him the advising voice states that JESUS has walked the earth in the flesh. He refuses to sign the divorce papers. This is truly torment all because I refused instructions. It took me a whole week to be able to get time to view this teaching. The devil is a lier, I will be freed and yoked to whom GOD has predestined for my life in JESUS mighty name.

I went to conference for single women once and one of the speakers said angrily, “God doesn’t promise you a husband” and made us feel bad for desiring to be married. This teaching is true because i can testify that i married a wrong person not according to God's will for my life. Stayed with him for 15 years, got 4 kids by him, abusive, my dreams died, affected my health badly and other things, he knew the bible so well but no fear of God whatsoever, my life was miserable with this person. The Lord taught me what Pastor is teaching here not to choose a partner for myself without His approval. We were taught wrong. I was later prophesied that this man was not from God i choose him for myself and i will either die in that marriage or he will die. Thank God that I found someone who understands these principles...may God truly bless u Pastor Ewing for this message. I remember a man of God telling me that God is NOT interested in who we marry. I didn't believe that for a second because whenever a man wanted to marry me in the past, I would pray about it first, and God would tell me "no", that they were not my husband. Many, many years ago, I really wanted to marry my baby daddy, and even tho God said no, I tried to overlook it cuz I was so much in love with him. We tried to get married several times, but everytime we tried, something would happen. God warned me in my dreams about this man and even spoke thru other people to tell me not to marry them. We used to fight all the time. No peace at all...but I loved him 😢 and we had 2 children together. We still decided that we wanted to marry, and I remember telling God that I was still going to marry him until one day I had a dream where I was in a library looking for a book and when I found the book, the title was called "When God says no, he means no". I jumped up out of my sleep and finally ended the relationship. God does care who we marry and we really have to be careful who we marry and make sure that it's in God's will. I'm so glad that I finally obeyed the Lord, and that he was patient with me when I was so blind.

Unlawful marriages: Divorce & Remarried when the 1st spouse is still living Gay marriages Incest marriages Trans marriages Pet/animal marriages Child marriages to an adult Remarriage : For the Widow/er Marriage: For those who never married Divorce: Reconcile with 1st living spouse or remain single God joining/putting together, does not mean he's choosing your spouse. Imo. He said a man chooses a wife. That's free will. For him to pick your spouse....there's no free will in that. That's why Paul said to marry in the Lord. If God was choosing, there would be no need to say that.

Amazing teaching.. I’m looking forward to listening to the remaining videos in this series. Side note: Dr. Myles Munroe often spoke of Mr he fact him and his wife never married. I happen to believe him. Since his passing and before I’ve not heard anyone testify against this. I don’t believe that two people who are spiritually and emotionally mature have to argue. At the very least it’s a choice. Does that mean you will agree on every matter? Absolutely not, but when you understand you are a team attacking the issue and not each other, when you operate from a place of trusting the intentions of your partner knowing they have your best interests at heart, when we can make a plan to step away from conversations the moment they become too passionate to speak calmly… what are we arguing about?

9/13/2024 Good day, Pastor Kevin. Not sure if I have ever commented on any of the teachings you have posted. I am new to your channel and I know that this is the will of God. He also confirms the passage of Psalm 32:8 'I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.' You mention this passage often [and so it caught my attention] and I know the Lord is confirming His guidance as I am listening to your teachings. The convenience of modern technology allows me to listen while I work with a little earbud, or while gardening, doing my chores and walking the dog. You get what I mean - The Lord has truly empowered you to speak to His people - as you are teaching about generational curses, from way back in the lineage to explain how these things affect us today, and how we must deal with these issues first and foremost as well as dealing with issues concerning our own salvation. I pray that we all will prioritize dealing with these matters first and foremost because when they are handled correctly [applying the teachings], it resolves the symptoms we are constantly dealing with and the peace and power of God can be fully enjoyed. I pray for your ministry, that the Lord will continue to water and protect it and that it will reach many more who are seeking a closer walk with the Lord in power and understanding, and that they may bear fruit as well. Thank you for this long-awaited teaching @Pastor Kevin L A Ewing Marriage is a great mystery Ephesians 5:31-32. It is important to understand this mystery. A man leaves his parents and is joined to his wife. They two become ONE FLESH. If the spiritual transaction has taken place (God joining you), it can't be undone. Even if the couple separate or divorce physically or legally, it doesn't matter before God. No hu(man) can split them. This thing goes deep because God is obligated to keep what is committed to Him. Get it right my people! Lord, help us to get it right in marriage. Your perfect will be done. Amen. In the next upcoming parts, can you go deeper into what ONE FLESH means? How do one know when God did not join them? Blessings!

Hi pastor Kevin, I love your teachings and your videos. Eve misleaded Adam when he told him to eat the apple when she knew she was not supposed to touch that tree. I just needed understanding on why she was created for him when she had him sin. I agree with what you're saying I was just confused about Adam and eve being created for each other when she didn't lead him to do good.

May be she was created partly to test Adam's obedience to God ( eating or not eating the fruit)

I think there is a verse in the bible were Paul said ' even when I desire to do good, evil is present. ' Even the most righteous person can be tempted and sin. God chose the best helpmate for him but she still has free will. Its just like when God have a perfect plan for us already but the devil knowing that tempt us to sin in order to go against God's will and bring curses on ourselves just like Eve did by eating the fruit and facing the consequences. Even Jesus was tempted by satan.
