To the point to appreciate a spouse for not hurting his or her face: For eight years I experience the dangerous personal killing of my positive self image, always in the beginning of any realization of a relationship, as an expression of black pedagogy against my beautiful nature, for the men who needs to be engaged with me, have no self awareness of being a man, but a concept about manhood, that doesn't exist in reality context. That's the social murderer number one in my field. It's like being death and getting murdered for an idea.

That's important, that there must be actions within a relationship, but for that a man has to take actions, to make himself attractive to a woman. A man, hiding himself from to avoid to face a woman and ghosting surround her life to occupy her, instead of caring for her, is not a man, but a stalker with confused attitudes to know himself with a woman and needs more to learn to understand his role towards a woman, instead to force her to subjugate herself to this insane relationship, that doesn't exist in reality at all.

36 been religious since I was 18. Still not married. I feel marriage is a social construct we are conditioned to believe that if we fail to reach this milestone we failed in life, but look at how many men have had their lives ruined from it. As far as the Torah commands us to marry and pro-create, so our free will is irrelevant, we are obligated to marry just like we keep shabbat or eat kosher, I object. One cannot pretend that our modern world is the same as when chazal were alive. Women and men have changed. Society standards have changed. Many men simply cannot afford it anymore. Feminism has altered women's minds to hate men and view them as tools they can use up and spit out. Of course it could work out, I suppose one should pray to Hashem for assistance to find a good partner, but it simply does not work like it did in earlier generations.

Men and women have changed. Technology and social media have changed relationships and especially dating. Men and especially women are initiating affairs. My husband of 27 years cheated with his married coworker. She had been married for 15 hears when she started her affair.

@@awomansstory.2019 Our sages in the gemara tractate sotah 49b if you would like to see inside, have warned us that the generation before the moshiach arrives has the face of a dog. Clearly a g-d fearing person by now has withdrawn from many "friendships" or intimate relationships they once had and focused mainly on serving g-d and refining themselves. Society and most people simply cannot be trusted anymore.
