Praying that my marriage of 17years can not only survive the current storm, but come out stronger and better than ever with our God as our captain!
@derrickhahn34692 жыл бұрын
I'm praying for you. My wife of 17 years just left me. I'm clinging to God now and it has been good. Keep enduring and examine yourself. There's so much God wants to change in our lives. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and let the love for your spouse overflow from that source. You can only give one person your whole heart. Who will it be God or your husband? Seek God's guidance and trust Him for the wisdom you need to humble yourself to His will. I'm rooting for you because I still believe in marriage and in my current circumstances I lost a bride to be made one without spot or blemish for the Lord Jesus Christ. I embrace this test of faith whether God brings her back or not I'll remain faithful to Him. Take care.
@rebekah18362 жыл бұрын
@Derrick Hahn Praying for you as well! As much as I've been clinging to God and genuinely going after a real relationship with Him, I've been finding myself feeling a lot of unforgiveness, resentment etc. My husband has really really hurt and disappointed me. But, somehow I've been able to wake every day with a heart full of gratitude. And I know that even if my marriage does not survive this season, I'll come out of this in a much better place with my Lord and Savior so I'll have the strength I need to raise my kids the right way.

I agree with all of PTs message. Me and my common law separated after 10 total years together. There was a break after the first 2 followed by 8 straight and 2 children. I changed and she and my children became my all. I shut off the rest of the world. The problem is this was not a God Union. I payed the first break up and was shown by our Father " there is no longer here for you". I went back after two year break only to start a family and be devastated. PTs message is accurate in saying that. Good is the most accurate when you ask for guidance from the Father you must listen and obey. Our fathers love and mercy is enduring forever. We can always trust him. AMEN AMEN. 🙏🏾👊🏾💯❤️

@seymoune sam Hi Seymoune most definitely a husband must be practicing loyalty and fidelity. What would be the reason to marry and defile the married bed? Nobody gets to do whatever. His infidelity will cause your temple to become il, failing you mentally, spiritually, and physically. Would you take a bath in dirty bath water, even if it was your own tub? God has given us a spirit of love, to love ourselves! with that said, nobody is above you and God to bring harm to you, be it financial, or otherwise. That's where you draw the line and be the woman God meant for you to be , walk out by faith, knowing it just may not have been the one God put together for you. God will do the repairs if it was meant. May your heart have peace knowing you are a deserving Queen. Be bless.

This is one of the ONLY marriage messages that I’ve heard that specifically calls out abuse as a non-negotiable factor. Thank you, Pastor Touré, for inserting that snippet. That being said, more depth is needed in these types of messages. The “stay in it or else” tone often misses the other horrors that some marriages exist in. Beyond physical abuse, there is emotional and financial abuse, infidelity, neglect, and downright complete absence of love and care. The truth is that some spouses are truly being damaged by the person who is supposed to be a supportive God-fearing partner. I personally know women (and men!) right now who are declining physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually because of their partners’ abuse and the church’s blind eye to the depth of the types of abuse within Christian marriages.

I left due to the abuse but now I'm worse off. Depression is worse
@@taghazoutmoon5031 You did a great and courageous act by leaving a toxic situation. Firstly, rejoice and pat yourself on the back . The second most important thing is reclaiming yourself worth, your value as a person, re learning and reclaiming your identity, who God truly created you to be. Claiming the word of God as your truth. Remember this person tried to erase your worth, your value and your identity. This process takes time and patience. Stand in front of the mirror daily, get a handful of scriptures and tell yourself who God says you are. This should be daily medicine for your soul. Keep on saying those scriptures until you believe it in your soul....even if it takes up to 2, 3 or 5yrs. Remember that person was intentional in trying to destroy you. Now is your time to be intentional for you. Thirdly, seek counselling and God is to direct you to the right counsellor this will facilitate your healing journey. If you can't afford it yet. Join an online group that concentrates on healing, also ask God to direct you. Fourthly, find a hobby or a passion a new routine that will enrich your life and enable you to make new friends. If possible travel to new places, do and plan exciting and adventurous things. Perhaps volunteering will help you take the focus off yourself sometimes and it's an opportunity to help others. Lastly pray, pray, pray, pray without ceasing intensify your prayer life. Start developing an intimacy with God. Then you will see your healing manifesting and will not only be existing but thriving and flourishing. Stay blessed, remember God is able. Ps worship songs daily are a must.

This preaching was such a blessing. It all makes perfect sense listening to this why so many marriages fail. People don’t decide to change and grow. People think the same person they married will remain exactly the same through the marriage but as people we evolve. I am open and willing to let God allow me to evolve for my marriage and the life he’s called me to. Toure is right it’s not impossible. It’s not too hard. It’s not something thats too hard for us to overcome. In Jesus name we can.

@shaneikquamuhammad80382 жыл бұрын
Exactly every marriage isn't put together by God, and you put it together thinking that you're suppose to marry them and that's not true, and then you end up having children by them stuck in something that wasn't ordained by God. Anyone that being abused shouldn't stay in a marriage like that, and some people has done that for years, deserve to be happy with a Godly ordained marriage. It takes each parties to work on their marriage together with God being the Cornerstone of it all.

I'm new to marriage. I just want to make sure my husband and I don't leave each other again. We broke up back in 2016. But 8 months later we got back together. We're both Christian. He's Catholic. I'm Protestant.

This will only work if the individuals are willing to put in the work. God is always in the midst to turn any situation around but honestly we have to be the ones to allow him to do so. I commend any one who’s willing to endure to honor the oath they took before God. That alone is a blessing in itself but wow unto them that are driven away but THIER own LUST and ENTICEMENT….
