It's common for relationships to encounter obstacles, but there is always a solution. My own marriage faced considerable issues, but with appropriate guidance, my husband and I worked through them and deepened our connection. Solutions are achievable if you're ready to work together. Stay hopeful-there's always a way forward.

I am just recently going through this. I am very confused as to when marriage became so disposable. We are not physically abusive, we don’t yell and scream. We argue and voices raise but nothing over the to. I definitely know there are areas I need to improve upon, but without being given that chance I can’t understand it being grounds for divorce. She’s dropped hints and said things here and there but I never knew it was like this. Never did I see this as an option
@Shawn-zt3gv2 жыл бұрын
I hear ya. Similar story here. She says she was clear years ago that we were headed down the wrong path. But I didn't hear or I just didn't listen
@davidm45662 жыл бұрын
Same here. I was not abusive, didn't cheat, didn't go out clubbing or with the boys or even spend too much time at the office. I made mistakes but was willing and working on all my stuff. There were no grounds for separation or divorce, but yet she walked out and said she is filing for divorce. We vowed for life and she even said, "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be", and "I'm not going anywhere, you're stuck with me" after an arguments. Talk is cheap and marriage "vows" are now pathetic in this society. Unless there is abuse, adultery, or something major like that, we have to figure it out and work through it. Problems can make marriages stronger if we both work together. Lust and infatuation are emotions. Love is a choice.

By being love: breathing, speaking, thinking love-yourself and others. Rather then making your feeling and acting of love dependent of how someone else acts. Love can sometimes be letting someone go, giving space, dropping judgement what you believe is right for the other... it is not easy, but you probably know living your current reality isn't easy either

My husband is 26 years older than me and we have married for almost two years now and we even have a son but they say age doesn’t matter in a relationship but he always flirted with another girls on social media and he never told them that he has married and he never post my pictures on social media and he also act like he is single. And after that he started to cheat on me and sometimes accusing me unnecessary accusations. So one day I saw several women’s numbers in his phone so I took one of the number inside her phone and I texted the girl and the girl we are almost the same age, so I text her and the girl started insulting me and tell me all kinds of words and even told the girl that he didn’t married and the girl told me that he only wanted his son not me so she told me everything and she said that she will never live my husband alone, so I called my husband and ask him if he knows that lady and my husband told me that he only wants to help the girl because his parents are dead and I forwarded all the texts the lady sent to me and how she insulted me and my baby. And then he still continue talking to the girl he never gave me no attention when ever I need him he always ignores me and told me that he is not interested in making love so I forget about it and then on day the girl forward my husband voice message while he was begging her for sex through the phone 😰 so I got so mad and me too I started to cheat on him about almost a weeks and later he find out that I was cheating on him with another man so I told him the truth and I confessed to him and then he said he has forgiven me and he always told me that he loves me . And then after sometimes he begin to cheat on me back with the same girl on social media and the lady even told her that she is a virgin so after some times I suspected that he is cheating on me so I searched his phone to know who is she so I see the Same girl and I confronted my husband again and he told me that he only wanted to help her for her school problems nothing else and then he apologized to me again and I forgive him because my baby is too young and I don’t want my baby to asked me when he grows up about his father and my baby is one year six month old and after a days I told him to send a message to the girl that am around he should not text him or call him because he’s a married man so he did what I told him to do . The next day I saw there conversation and told the girl that he only sent that message to her to be careful that I am around and he never sent it intentionally because am the one that order him to do that and then he even promised to give the lady a lot amount of money and told the girl that let them continue their relationship and he will always love the girl . So please ma what can I do to solve my marriage back because right now am heart broken 😰😰😭.

Mary, I am in the same situation. We love each other deeply. But he has issues with hollering getting angry. He is either up, very loving and attentive, or really down, mad, angry, hollering. But always apologizes.
@JOONEOR5 жыл бұрын
@@angieauldridge7409 as a man. I apologize. I don't know what exactly caused your husband to do this. But, for me, I grew up in an abusive home. I promised I would never hit a woman. But, I did not learn that yelling is just as, if not more, hurtful. I learned that I have anxiety, and when a stressful situation or an argument presents itself, I lost control and yelled and curse, catch myself and them stop. Its really hard to explain. But, there is a saying that goes: If you were never taught, you don't know. I never knew how to treat a woman, never learned to manage my stress, buried my emotional scars and the list goes on. Once you can help your husband acknowledge this (directly or through a mediator) he will be on the road to real change. It is very hard, but if you guys love each other it is worth it. And the last thing you should do is keep reminding him of every instance, it will just make him feel worthless and will sink more and more into accepting that he can't change. Sorry if I interrupted, just...wanted to share.
@JOONEOR5 жыл бұрын
Am so sorry to hear that. It is really tough. The hardest part is to remain civil to each other. If only one person is willing to let go of all the past arguments and incidents etc I can almost assure you that the entire boat will shift direction. When we, as humans, break up, we remind ourselves over and over about all the bad, and more often than not, there is always way more good. I hope you guys work it out. Just thought I would share.

I’m not sure I found this one helpful. My husband cheated on me sexually three times, but they talked almost everyday on the phone for 10 years. I was devastated when I found out. Months later he told me he loved me, but was not in love with me. Those words nearly killed me. About 6 weeks later he promised me that he only loved me and was only in love with me. I believed him. He lost is job soon after and we bought a house in Georgia. Living here slightly less than a month, I noticed he was sulking. I knew it was over his girlfriend, Donna. He denied it that day, but the following day he once again told me that he loved me, but was not in love with me. I don’t want it to be, but I think my marriage is over. 10 years of having an emotional affair with an old high school sweetheart is a lot to forgive, I thought I could do it, but with him sulking and telling me again that he is not in love with me is just too much. I feel like I’m just waiting for him to tell me he is leaving. How am I supposed to have any hope in saving my marriage of 31 years. He was such a good liar that I never had a clue. How do I know if he is lying in the future?

I am hoping to save the marriage, been married over 16 years. Problem here is my husband has another gal in the picture. The reason right now we are still married is he has a large life insurance policy on me. He is trying to help me along. He is an narcissist kind of guy, very much into power, control and abuse. But still I believe we could turn this marriage around if only he would work on that. Right now he won't. I have moved out of our home and am living with my son. My husband uses poisons like a fuel treatment for his semi-truck to mess with my health. I have told the police but its my word against his. I am a Christian and believe in my vows. But how in the heck can this all be fixed and saved? Oh yes I am 70 and my husband is 69.

After 30 years of marriage and two teenage kids, my wife has given up, has found a new love interest and wants a divorce. It is SO hard not to be begging her to stay, even for the good of our kids. She is adamant she wants to go. We've tried counselling and that hasn't worked. She is smitten with her new guy. But she wants me to stay in the family home that we both own, so that the kids aren't affected too much, and she wants me to pay the mortgage and bills. And she wants to be able to use our facilities for her home based job when I am at work.

I really wish you would add finances as part of your Pies concept. So crucial and the number one cause of divorce is money fights and money problems so to ignore that aspect is like missing the elephant in the room. Other than that I really like your videos and think they are very helpful when someone’s brain is in that place where they fear a loss.

True love is not conditional .It's just about treating another person well. Try it you will find you will love and feel better about yourself. Sometimes it comes back sometimes it doesn't but in the end you get loved more in life by giving. Just give a little if that all you have .do what you can .don't worry about whether its enough and don't worry about anybody else .

Hello Chris Hart, I can help you heal your relationship and make everything right between you and your partner in Seven days.
Absolutely not. If it starts going sideways, it will never be "peachy" again. You're setting yourself up so your "spouse" can wait until you're 60 years old and steal all of your stuff, and latch onto another sucker like she's getting the daily newspaper. I'm just being real, here. Don't be a fool.

This happened to me! I tried so hard to save my marriage after he cheated. I thought it was the right thing to do. Well fast forward to several other betrayals and verbal abuse, and he left me while I was hospitalized. He refuses all communication and is trying to take everything we worked so hard to obtain. It's crushing. Please, people, don't try to save a marriage when the other person doesn't want you anymore. I wasted my youth, and I believe his bad behavior made me sick. He destroyed my life. He waited until we were 50. 25 years of marriage, down the drain. It is devastating. He did this almost three months ago and never talked to me again, didn't even care when I was in the ICU with my life in danger from pneumonia. If they want to go, let them. Push them out the door! Run away if you have to! Once they've cheated or left you, leave them back and never ever return no matter what.

I'm stuck in a situation where my wife had told me that she loves me but is not in love anymore. I know I wasn't always there and made her feel I wasn't giving her the attention that she needed or wanted, and it drove her away to find attention from someone else. She had eventually told me what she had done, and I forgave her about it. I wasn't there, and I didn't give her that attention, and I apologized to her about it. I need help trying to get her back and fall in love with me all over again. We have had some good times this past week or two, but she still doesn't know what she wants. she says she wants to be alone and is just depressed and doesn't know if she can be happy again. I'm giving her time and not talking to her about what happened because it was pushing her away even further away from me. I've been doing what I can to better myself and give her space, but I don't know what else to do to try and help her through this time, and I'm not giving on her I just need help I want to fix and save our marriage and trying to do everything I can it feels like I'm doing this all by myself because she don't know what she wants? I need help

@@justinclark1182 similar to mine, too. Many times women will have it in their minds that if something doesn't change they will leave...without actually communicating that. So they let/force their heart to close and get cold and then nothing we can do will reach them. That's when we need to turn to God more than ever. He is the only one that can do it.

@Teutoburg095 жыл бұрын
I've read that separating to give each other space is actually not a good idea. Absence makes the heart grow less fond. Your oxytocin levels will fall while you are apart, and you will also both learn to cope without each other.

What if we already signed divorce papers?
@JOONEOR5 жыл бұрын
If you love each other, don't let technicalities change that fact. My wife wants a divorce. I will not fight it. If a year from now she calls me and say "let's work it out." I will be there in a heart beat. I would do anything for her, and my family. It's really difficult, since emotions flair up, this and that thoughts take over your mind, but, believe it or not, making every effort to remind yourself of all the good, each and every day, meditating on it, makes a huge difference.

What if, my step daughter has issues, and since she and her sister and Mom, (wife) moved in 2005, she didn't like me. Both kids are out and married themselves. Oldest step has now, 2 grandkids and because she doesn't like me, she is holding that over her mom, not letting grand kids come to our house. So mom(wife) at this point, is siding with daughter. And is moving out.
