This is an abusive husband who has made several sexual assault allegations against his wife on TV. He’s been verbally abusive. No one believes Emem has done anything to cause him to act this way. Ikechi is dealing with some childhood trauma and needs severe mental help. We know his mother sent him to live with his Dad. The dad kicked him out at age 16. The mother must have been struggling with his mental health issues to send him to his father. For the father to kick his teen son out on the streets of ATL means he says and does some very bad things. The mother takes him back in, and we don’t know how long he was there before leaving again. Ikechi couldn't deal with the break up of his parents and taking it out on everyone. His family was not at that wedding. Emem confirmed last night on the After Party that he doesn’t have any family or friends in Chicago. We don’t know who those people were who showed up at the wedding. Dr. Pia saw for herself how dangerous and abusive Ikechi can be towards Emem. I was shocked when she was trying to push him back into the apartment to cause more trauma to Emem. This is not fair to Emem. Ikechi was rejected in Houston, and we believe he was also rejected in ATL because they already had a horrible person, Chris. After 2 failed season of MAFS, they green light Ikechi for RATINGS, not a successful marriage in Chicago. Production knew what we all saw. He’s a train wreck. Ikechi is unable to control his frustrations, anger, and his mouth. Production knew this about Ikechi, and now, because of the drama, they have another successful season for all the wrong reasons. Production purposely matched these couples, knowing they would fail but give us great drama on TV. This is not why I watched this show for the drama. I want to see people meet, fall in love, and as we have seen with some other couples last and make beautiful babies.

Could be trauma from past relationship - but typically that doesn’t cause the errors in perception and delusions of grandeur Ikechi displays. I do think his behavior is a defense mechanism (as it is in most bipolar people) but he goes beyond what normal traumatized people display. He was able to mask during the mafs selection process but the stress of filming and intensity of being with a person one on one is too much and he can’t do it

I think Emem is bound by contractual obligations to stay with Ikechi until decision day. My goodness where do I start. First, fire all 3 "experts"-NOW. I wouldn't let them match my right glove with my left. Any other job with the same failure rate would be let go. It's also a mistake that every time you see the couples, they have a drink in their hands. It distorts their character. Also, 2 of the women don't want anything to do with their husbands. A marriage is doomed where one party (Madison) is not even remotely attracted to her husband (poor Allen). When Allen asked Madison does she find him even a little bit attractive, her answer was, "I guess." Dude, it's NOT going to get better-trust. Hold onto your dignity and break camp, or you'll never be invited back into the bro club. Same is true for the materialistic, money obsessed Michelle, who-plain and simple-doesn't think hubby David is good enough for her. Conversely, 2 of the men want very little to do with their wives. Juan acts like the only reason he is still there is contractual. They have a teacher/student relationship. (And for crying out loud, where did MAFS find that "flake" Karla?) Even as a man, I recognize that Ike is treating Emem poorly. Just like last season, I've never seen so many guys whose women wants them to "get down," and the guys respond by saying, "Um, not so fast." I wish some woman would let me know she's "ready" by grabbing my "junk" or asking me to take a shower with her. Hey Ike, if you don't want Em, let me have her. Don't be surprised if it turns out that its Ike who has a girlfriend. It'll be a miracle if any couple outside of the man shaping Cammy and square azz Thomas, stay together.
