Even final vows is basically a promise to continue the relationship. The USA version is the only one where they are legally married at first sight for real. That's why it's the only version people have bolted and will not even film any part of the wedding, they just leave. 😅 Can't get over Luke but Lord knows I could have never repeated it on TV...Amy is bold. I think Richelle would never have returned in a million years. She wanted to do damage limitation I imagine. Eve also didn't come back. Alex may have been in RAF jail when they filmed this. He was imprisoned I gather for over a month after the principal shooting of the show as he asked for leave to film it and they said no but he went ahead and did it anyway...apparently. I think everyone is missing the point about why Amy told people what Luke wrote. She had to do that otherwise people including the audience wouldnt realise what she has been putting up with. Up until that point I felt a bit sorry for Luke especially during the final vows, I thought Amy was a bit harsh. But as soon as I heard what he wrote I was disgusted. I cant imagine many women would find that attractive. If my husband said that I would have left. Luke needs to understand his behaviour is disgusting and certainly not gentlemanly!! ..... Polly certainly has let herself down during this experiment. It was clear from the way Adam was behaving that he did not find her attractive. Im not sure why he stayed as long as he did, ( perhaps he just wanted to be on the telly, or see what the other wives were like? ) he did lead her on because he kept saying he was 'trying'. If you find your partner attractive there is no 'trying'. Polly should have had more self worth and realised that she shouldnt be with someone that was finding it difficult to be intimate with her. She should have left a lot earlier. I do like Adam but I think he did lead her on, he should have left, he didnt fancy her, period!

Really nice to hear your opinion on this. I think men assume women want 'explicit talk' but don't really understand when. I think men often assume their sexual thoughts are the same as women's and act accordingly. It is something that has to be learned, ie: there is a time and place for it. A note with a sweet gift is not the time or place. I also think that maybe what he wanted from her sexually was not something she wanted to give him and maybe that was a bit scary. Sorry - I'm rambling. Either way, it was a silly move from him. As you say, if this is the kind of thing he was sending to her a lot then I do understand why she got so angry.
