People who have really experienced life are seeking real depth with real emotions, not quick gratification that leaves one with nothing of substance after it’s over. I know this is alien to you right now, because you are inexperienced in these things, but some day, you may actually connect with another person and begin to make real memories, and you are gonna be blown away with how deeply satisfying it is, compared to the shallow and selfish rush that may have been your only source of pleasure to this point. This is what marriage is about- living out the ins and outs of daily life, the big, the small, the mundane, the extraordinary. Your spouse will be (should be) there for you to care for you, love you, support you, help you out with slicing onions because it makes you cry... It's not the grand gestures that dictate how good your marriage will be, it's the basic, day-to-day things that speak "I love you!" that makes married life so worth it. With unrealistic expectations in our digital age, it's hard not to compare what social media posts there are about this or that cool wedding or proposal, but in reality, this is not what real life looks like... It is THIS VIDEO that truly encapsulates it. Well done, brought happy tears to my eyes. God's blessings to you both ❤️ -wife and mum (together 14 years, married for 10, 3 young kids)

What I love most about this film is that it captures what is being lost in the art of marriage. Welll. They may all move back home for five years to pay off school loans and cars, then move back during Covid 17 months, then help seventeen days after surgery this year, then stay overnite regularly to take their dad to ballgames, or visit their sister and her kids. Ummm we only had fourteen and a half months and I thought the same thing after three kids. It’s fine, companionship, but at 42 years, nothing like that young love… so don’t wish this fun time away raising kids.
