Astra never died. She physically was sent to hell as a child. If you notice all of the other “hell raisers” look the same way they died. Astra literally grew up in hell. She was always human

Yeah your right Lovely A. Astra was taken to hell by a demon that John accidentally conjured. That’s why John feels so guilty towards her and it was Lachesis(Charlie’s older sister) that found her wandering in hell and looked after her. She really only did it so that she could groom her to take over Charlie’s spot once the Loom of Fate was found.

Constantine (the series) shows Astra being sent to hell as a child when the demon John fought,snatched her. She was still alive-soul intact and all-when she was dragged there. I sent you guys Constantine the series for you to watch and a lot about Astra is explained on the show. But back to Legends,I cried that last half. I don't like dystopian/end of the world movie & show storylines. Especially involving zombies...so to see no hope and everyone bodied had tears pouring out.

I never noticed the first time I watched the episode, but Gideon is a redhead here. In season 2 when Jax and Sara went inside Rips mind and they met Gideon, Jax said he always pictured her as a redhead. I thought that was a really cool nod to that scene.

Remember, Astra was sent to hell by Constantine when she was a child. She's a mortal that grew up in hell. She can't be dead as a child and grow up into an adult otherwise she would still be a child even now. So her death now actually counts

@Married2theReal. if you look at the trailer that they put out for the legends like 2 weeks ago.. It wasnt a specific episode trailer, it’s was a seasonal trailer, and if you play it in .25x speed, you can see how the fates remake the world and Gary is seen saying the world is wrong, but in the back of him it shows the 3 fate sisters on the poster and under there name it says that that the world is right. And it shows Sara, Constantine, and Astra going to retrieve the loam of fate , That all I could see from the trailer

Astra wasn't dead though, remember? She was taken to Hell as a child by the demon lord Nergal, when John botched an exorcism trying to have Nergal expel a lesser demon. Nergal never actually killed her.

So, okay, they make a point of "saying" that Mick is driving on the wrong side of the road, but the production team doesn't think were smart enough to NOT notice that the bus ITSELF is the wrong way?????? On the original Constantine show, Astra was dragged to hell by the Demon Nergal. She was alive when it happened. She grew up in hell. Very much alive. That's why episodes ago this season she told John that when she died, because of her actions she would just end up right back in Hell anyway. That's why she felt justified to keep sending encores and being a Mob boss in Hell...

Because it was originally gonna be strictly a DC Universe show before they changed their minds, and those shows always have a higher budget to work with. Notice how it was filmed on the same type of camera as Titans and Doom Patrol. Once the Stargirl episodes that they filmed have past, we'll be getting a more conventional Arrowverse show in terms of CGI and cinematography. The same thing will happen with Swamp Thing if it does well enough on the CW for it to be picked up by them from there rather than DC Universe
