DC animation is the best! I bought this when it first premiered. I love the fact we get comic book Barry/Flash with Black Iris West (like they did for that series of Flash comics). I agree with Tre about The Flash needing his own animated movie (FPP and this were both great but having his own would be fantastic).

Great reaction guys, really. But on a side note, I'm not generally a fan of when they take the heroes back into times before the 60's or 70's really. I feel that certain heroes don't really translate well back then. Even though many of them were created as far back as the 30's and even 20's, the more current versions are just superior in every way. Ever since the 90's Batman has eclipsed every version before that. It's very difficult accepting a modern style batman in the 40's or even the 1800's like the " The Doom That Came To Gotham" and "Gotham by Gaslight" stories. it's a new-ish concept of Batman so I can't fault that. But he's still shown using advanced technology that isn't really feasible. So anything really before the 70's is not going to get my attention.

I love golden and silver age stories they are among the best stories in comics to be honest. Now days have some good ones though

@@MKF30 I'm not entirely in disagreement about the story plots or how they are put into effect. More specifically with Heroes that are Tech-based. We are so used to seeing them with insane tech that whenever they go back to times like the 40's and earlier and they STILL have that same tech (mostly) it's just not worth investing for me. To be fair that's mostly Batman though. Others have more reasonable versions. For example The Doom That came To Gotham just bothered me on every level. I mean they REALLY went balls deep on the "woke" crap for that one: Sonjay (Jay) Tawde???? Really???

@@patrickcromwell7554 yeah I mean batman and blue beetle(the original BB) used what tech they had back in the day despite how primitive compared to now. Yeah thankfully most DC animated movies aren't woke like say every Disney movie these days lol. Doom that came to Gotham was meh but I felt this movie was much better personally among many other DC movies and ones based in the past like JL frontier was also solid.

@@MKF30 I suppose; but then, even back in like 1992 I wasn't a fan of Gotham by Gaslight or the concept. despite Batman having been created IN the 30's iI don't think he became all that popular until the late 80's then into the 90's. when you see Batman you WANT to see badass outlandish gadgets and tech that looks like it shouldn't be invented for the next 25 - 50 years.

@@patrickcromwell7554 Oh batman was very popular prior to the 80s and 90s but he's just far bigger now than he's ever been. But I get why he is the only big-time super hero without powers. Some like to go on about Ironman but no doubt Marvel was inspired by Batman when Stan Lee came up with Tony Stark. The similarities are uncanny.

DC always makes the best animated movies and cartoon series -- it amazing how the animated stuff can be so great, but the live action stuff is so bad
