My Mars in Virgo is just above my Virgo ascendant: it is in the 12th house and on its way to the first. I relate 💯 % with the need to be alone but not so much with being dependent on others. I also have Saturn in the 12th: I found my ' home' abroad and always feel a bit uncomfortable or annoyed or irritated when I have to return or stay in my native country...I suddenly become critical of almost everything and everyone when I am there .
