But in water signs bc water signs is deep and more spiritual/ it gets in the very way of what Rahu wants and that’s drive. So it causes confusion. Mars is enemy to Venus . Venus is love mars is soldier. So they are ill matched. Mars is hot. So fire signs is good placement. Water signs not so much. The water puts out the good part of mars but scorpio is ruled by mars so it’s a special case

Mars is best in Aries, Scorpio and Capricorn. It is decent in most other signs except cancer, Libra, Pisces. Taurus neutral IMO. It does well in house 1,3,5,6,8,9,10,11. Without checking my book for accuracy, I think that’s what well placed. But you also need to check Saturns aspect so it gets more complicated.

the reason why you mars dasa was bad was because you are virgo ascendant and mars is a functional malefic...because it rules house 3 and 8....therefore.mars is a functional malefic for virgo lagna people and usually for most virgo lagna people mars dasa periods can be quite difficult...the best dasha periods generally speaking for virgo lagna is venus and mercury as they are functional benefic planets for virgo

Mars is red. Red is blood. Blood gives us life it's the colour of joy. (Symbolic) Hence Mars represents the joy in us, but when it is badly placed or we are not in our true self and too much into the mind it becomes the opposite of joy which is fear.

Wow i have got exact same position......ur mars is in pisces. And 8th house is related to sudden upheavals, hidden underground things ,surgeries , obstacles etc. Essentially its a bad house.
