I don’t know if you’re still checkin’ these comments after all this time pard’nr, but I gotta tell ya… of the many similar videos I’ve watched, and having not done a diorama as yet (I’m fixin’ to be a beginner) this video made the most sense. I finally got it. I’m talkin’ about the painting process. The base coat, the black for the shadows between rock layers, the lighter brown on flat ground and surfaces, and the dry brushing for highlights… in my mind I kinda went, “oooohhh… I see.” After I get my shop set up, I’ll be gettin’ my first airbrush. The realism of the finished product is what fascinates me most. Thanks for the enlightenment. I’ve done some sci-fi spaceships for my Grandson’s bedroom, and am working on a couple of fantasy steampunk air ships for one of my Granddaughters. (have only used recycled containers and such… no hobby store purchases yet… but soon) Can’t wait to dive into the diorama world.

Thanks Danged. I'm glad it helped. I try something different on every model so filming it helps me to remember what I did that time. Having the right tools really helps, I'm sure you're going to love the airbrush. I find the priming process of models with an airbrush is probably my favorite step.

I love it! lots of diorama crafters do really cool terrains, but then lack when it comes to painting, but in yours it really brings it next level, it looks awesome.

How come there are no links to the 3D Print files for the vehicle in the description like you said in the video?

your boxcutter isn't sharp enough to cut foam smoothly. Which makes i more difficult, messy and dangerous to cut. Foam needs a veeery thin and sharp knife. I recommend to sharpen your blades
@spacehabs90573 жыл бұрын
Slashing foam definitely dulls the end quickly. I have to remember to snap the tip off more often. I'm too frugal with blades. Thanks.

Like the stuff you do, but haven’t subscribed, music is annoying and I am hard of hearing, so found it difficult to hear what you were saying
@spacehabs90572 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the feedback. I'm learning with each video I post so hopefully I'll iron out the technical difficulties. I'm also trying to use a variety of music so maybe the next one will work better for you. Or maybe the one after that. Haha, subscribe and find out how many videos it takes me to pick music that you like. :)
