There is a strong tinge of confirmation bias coarsing through the comments section on this issue. Meaning - people are clearly predisposed to taking sides based on 'evidence' cherry-picked. It's almost ironic - people claiming Winter was being "too emotional" was pretty blatantly basing bashing her on emotional subjectivity.

Marshawn was right when it came to decide who was to go Ariel kept going with emotions over what they did on their mission. Marshawn even reminded Ariel that it was about the mission and not personal, when she was talking about her personal relationship with Lance as reason for him to go. Then again when she was deciding between Paul Pierce and Ahsley Iaconetti she wanted to keep Ahsley who took a nap during the mission vs Paul who was standing and stretching is arm up for over an hour. Ariel left to her our devices who keep people on whether she liked them or they kissed her rump enough. Marshawn seems to me to be the best person to lead this group, but Andy Richter seems like a great choice too.

She was beyond emotional! Let's be honest, she's immature and can't hear anything beyond her privileged emotions. The only reason she got elected was because most of the other newbies are just like her. She has been so shady and 2 faced. This show was definitely not a great look for her. I said that, yet she and Mitch are still my favorite in MF. Sometimes tv "reality" is so disappointing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It wasn't up to Marshawn. The others voted and they voted for Ariel. Lance keeps bullying her and then he tried to bring the new people into the drama that was there mentioning Ariel instead of letting the new people decipher their own opinions. Lance does a good job on the missions but he has never played a team sport and that makes a difference. As a cyclist he doesn't play well with others. Ariel could have rolled it off better, I do agree but Marshawn is not in charge as much as he likes to think he is. He didn't have a problem with Lance being commander but when the group voted for Ariel, he said neither of them should be commander. Marshawn needs to grow up and let the team have a vote and not try to change the vote to what he wants. Ariel needs to put her emotions aside but Lance needs to stop bullying her in my opinion.

The group votes, he can express his opinion but the group already voted for Ariel and yet he thought it was okay for lance to be commander even though he had an issue with Ariel but he didn't want Ariel to be commander even though the majority ruled. In the end it does matter because he was being sexist to Ariel while protecting Lance. In the grand scheme of life, doesn't m atter, it is just a game but Lance, Ariel and Marshawn are forgetting that it is just a game and once it is over they will all go on with their lives.

Base commander is to give directions and not to deviate from the plan. Arial shouldn't have been allowed to propel down the wall during the water scene just because she wanted to grow as a person. She should have stayed at the top and filled the containers. Base commander was too soft and switched roles last minute. I think it was planned to have Tallalhu Willis leave early so they put her in charge. She is working through some serious anorexia issues and depression and probably good that she had to leave. She was encouraging to her team mates but too soft. I wish her the best in her recovery though. Lance has the right idea as vain as he appears to be. He knows how to stay focused and realizes that some are forming alliances. You can't keep someone on the team who doesn't do the work no matter how much you like them in my opinion.

Yes, there is VERY much so something wrong with having emotions when they determine your speech and actions. And being emotional is not equal to having empathy. Women need to learn that asap. It's exhausting having to sort through your individual emotions all the time. We literally do NOT care how *you* feel when there's a whole team/community to consider.

Love this show but these participants need to stop leading with their hearts and lead with their heads. This is a competition and friendships go out the window. If they were really losing their water supply they would be a lot more frantic. I love comedian Natasha but she was useless in the bio plant area. I would gag also don't get me wrong but she basically has done nothing. Time for her to go. Too many emotions. It is about survival and the mission and I would do what I had to do to survive.

I agree with Marshawn. Ariel is way too emotional and still wet behind the ears. Her opinion on trans being in certain areas of sports is because of her immaturity. She is first and formost, NOT an athlete as is Lance. He has way more experience in the sports arena and knows what it takes to make a good athlete. Ariel is just some airheaded actress who memorizes lines and spews them out. She has nothing to contribute.

Lance should have never brought the topic up. Any hot topic like that will not bode well when you are locked together for days and weeks at a time. I do agree with Lance that trans athletes should have their own categories but not the time or the place. On the other hand, Ariel could have just walked away knowing that she also should just roll it off because they were living together for a few weeks and challenging someone on a hot topic like that in that environment is nonproductive. Some of these participants just need to realize how blessed they are to have the opportunity to be on this show. They should have fun, work hard and do their best.

I totally agree with you. Celebs don't realize how blessed they are to be on this show. I would love to be on this show. I think having regular people mixed with celebs might be a nice mix for future shows, or just regular people. Surely they have to pass a physical to appear on the show???? Andy Cohen and Cat are a nice addition. Cat will kick butt and Andy appears to be trying to level the playing fields. He is pretty out of shape though so I don't know how long he will last in the physical aspect, much like the comedian who left. She realized she wasn't up to the challenge physically and they were right to vote her off. I do enjoy her as a comedian though.
