Hello, thank you again for this nice video ! I wanted to share some thoughts with you about this run : - I think the point of any game is to find several high value production chain. In this case you had a good opportunity to leverage the carpenter with the weaver, and many big rocs. You could produce, planks then, training gears, then luxury goods. 5 luxury goods from 8 rocs and 5 woods is 7.5 ambers. Before Prestige 10 you don’t even have to bother with trade routes and can sell them directly to the merchant. With such an effective production chain you could have bought nearly all goods from every merchant. - With 2 coal mine and a kiln you may have wanted to sacrifice coal to avoid the effect of charged water. - You rerolled the trapper camp and maybe at this point of the game it was the right thing to do but in Marshlands half of the big nodes can be collected by the trapper camp and you certainly had a lot of big eggs and meat nodes. - You may want to check the buildings which have an exclamation point on them as it means they are not functioning. Several buildings were not producing anything for most of the video (like the cookhouse). Still, congrats for having fought till the end and for the win against harsh conditions ! Keep up the good work !

This is my favorite video by far. Loved to see you stick it out and finish the match with a win. The unforgiving nature of this game is one of my favorite parts. The play to force Sahilda i think was the game charger. Big heads up moment. You rock!

Very instructional mini serie. Thank you for your content it helped me survive my first prestige levels. Keeping a cool head and chosing the less worst decision can get you a long way.

Maybe using rainwater engine for resolve would have simplified the win a bit?

Oh the Rainwater Engines were running for Resolve. The main issue was the complete lack of Hostility reducers and some muck ups on my early game draft. I could've had complex food way earlier if I hadn't misplayed on the Flour so badly.

I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to conceil that part. It's been really just buying all the complex food and service item and a hail mary in the end. The video just got so gosh darned long. And I was actually 100% convinced to lose that one.

@@Ic0nGaming I've had a lot of games where it feels like I'm about to lose up until the very end. I suppose it's just how this games plays on higher dificulties where you're constantly balancing between loss and win.

Its rough treading water in this game late into the run. Blatant favoring towards the beavers only (only allowing them coats/biscuits) or the forbidden shrine might have helped you break thru faster. Also forcing thru the haunted beaver house would have been good. it has lots of room and I think it also has an extra resolve bonus that isn't easy to see on the event page.

With only 1 settlement to trade with, you still did so much trade you could buy what you needed … good lesson!

Hey Icon, by the way theres no need to use lizards also in secondary hearts. Whoever you place in secondary hearts is the same, theres no added bonus.

Ive learned a lot from this series by the way. I can consistently win on viceroy. I didnt try prestige yet, but I bet it would be much much harder. You gain more rewards on rpestige? Or just harder but no extra rewards
