Just to clarify some misunderstandings about the music video. The girl's dad is in an emergency on fire duty. One of the firefighters end up suffocating from the fumes, so the dad goes back to save her even though the rest of the crew are telling him to get out. When the house keeps burning and the mum and girl are in tears, we think that the dad is dead. They appear in black funeral clothes near the end, but the dad appears on stage to get an award for his bravery, along with the female firefighter he tried to save (they both have scars from the burns). This shows it wasn't a funeral for the dad, but it was an award ceremony.

It is true, but we are not focusing on the firefighters' part. Marshmello is trying to raise funds for those who have been in a disaster, and trying to remove their trauma and stress. That's the whole point of the video.

The tanks are actually compressed air (some sorta fancy-schmancy self contained breathing equipment). Bringing a tank of Oxygen into a burning building can be dangerous. Also, a lot of the older generations believed that wearing the masks was a sign of being weak, or non- masculine. I.e. why a lot of them are now dealing with lung and other issues resulting from not using the masks.
