The Wagoneer S should have been an ICE Chrysler. A sweet single turbo hurricane 3.0L inline six as standard issue and a decent price point would have made this vehicle a sales hit.

Absolutely love the retro interior & exterior mixed w/ a bold design! There’s NO non-luxury suv that can compete and they know it; Hence, the attempt to bash the brand. Jeep is expanding and definitely on to something. Maintain current pricing and new/old clientele will buy. Yesterday’s prices are not today’s prices!

What beautiful cars that absolutely priced out their market. I watched my Mother in law get priced out of her favorite vehicle. Back in 2015 my MIL got a 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited brand new and was able to afford this comfortably. No it wasn’t the highest trim but it was pretty close. This was unfortunately totaled in 2023 and she was forced to get Another Grand Cherokee but with Less features and a lower trim because the prices has gotten to out of control for her to try and get a even a newer GC, let alone a brand new one She ended up getting a 2018 GC that is a nice car but had 87K miles and she paid close to what she did back in 2015 she defiantly is missing her 2014. She’s so disappointed in jeep, Her family owned a Plymouth dealer back in the day so this is a personal blow…😢

I have heard that white, silver and black are less expensive for the manufacturers to use, and also easier for body shops to match the color (unless the car is "shrink-wrapped" around the engine like Fiat 500, Chevy Aveo, etc -- those are "throw-away" cars that are easy to total).

@@williamjones7821 On mine, white was a few hundred dollars cheaper than any of the other colors. It was the only color without metallic flakes in the paint. You're right that those are hard to match.

Those upscale Wagoneers look perfect for celebrities and numerous CEOs. They'd make great travel vehicles for tours involving music celebrities, comedians, and sports icons, along with CEOs and their business partners. As an outdoors man, my favorite concept was the Dispatcher.

Jeep is still killing it with the Wrangler if you have a brain. 2 door Willy's with Rubicon suspension, wheels with 33" Falken M/Ts, , Dana 44s front and rear with rear locker. Just picked one up $8,900 off. Had a 4 door before and always had the back seat down and never had back seat passengers, so let the soccer moms have the 4 door and save $6,000. Jeep is stil the low price king. Wrangler Sport 2 door starts $6k lower than Bronco 2 door base model. Saw some at local dealer with 2.0 Turbo and 6 speed manual for $30k.

That will actually be some solid performance, it should definitely be the new SRT model. If the Grand Wagoneer with the Hurrican HO can do 0-60 in 4.7ish seconds, surely GC can do it quicker. The SRT was rated for 4.4 I believe so this should be the SRT replacement. Not sure it’s worthy of Trackhawk replacement though

That gladiator concept is wild the fact they left the 392 out is wild add a little more weight whole cares strengthen the frame give us a manual with the 6.4l don’t get us stuck with the auto and thus keeping the towing capacity with the heavy duty frame give us a 30 gallon fuel tank instead of resonators I can guarantee that people will buy the 6.4 with a manual nobody buys the manual cause they have it with a motor that has terrible track record for noises and other garbage is even be happy with a 2.0 turbo manual that would be nice

It’s the exact same V6 more or less since 2011 (14+ years!!), still just 293 hp for Jeep. Some models like Challenger made 305 but it was just tweaks to exhaust or tuning, no real upgrades 10 hp is nothing.

@@djhaloeight Macintosh can make good stuff, sure. So can Alpine and a number of other aftermarket companies that make stock systems for cars. But when an auto manufacturer comes and asks them to build a system and that they'll pay them 100 bucks per system, you're only gonna get so much.

My son is about to graduate college and has a decent chunk of change set aside for a vehicle. I will 100% steer him away from any of this. It's over priced, status symbols for trend chasers. They need a $22k entry model with 4x4, simple controls, and basic tires/rims. Half the fun was putting on the accessories you wanted.

Great video, hope Jeep brings the Hemi V8 back, just as RAM will do. And the Grand Cherokee should be the top of the line model. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer should be Chrysler products with a sensible price, would certainly be a success. Jeep made many many mistakes under Tavares leadership , now that that traitor is gone, it's time to put the house back in order. Beginning with pricing.

I remember when 'concept vehicles' included innovations that many times found their way into production. Now many just seem to be a collection of factory available parts. Where is the 4xe Gladiator? Where is a Jeep with a Hurricane 3.0L swapped into it? How about rear seats in a JT that actually fold flat? Not even factory 35's on a Gladiator. No wonder the sales are in the crapper.

Having a '24 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited with the 3.6L V6 I argue your stance. The engine has power and pickup and Car and Driver rated it sub 8 secs 0 to 60.

In my honest opinion it’s just not worthy of being in an expensive suv like this. The Limited used to have 5.7L standard which is better in every way. You can get the Pentastar in the sub 30k base model charger and challenger and also the Pacifica. Sure it’s not bad, but my crappy old 08 Aspen still can do 0-60 in like 7.5 seconds. It’s fine for a V6 but as a customer for $50+ grand I will not accept a base model V6 engine. And also the Grand Cherokee 4xe models have like 2 second faster performance times with 82 more HP and 210 more TQ! V6 is so far behind that there is a gap they need to fill here. Also it’s the same V6 since 2011 with zero upgrades, c’mon Stellantis!

The keep pricing themselves out of sales, not to mention who would buy a luxury SUV without a V8. The 3.6 V6 is a POS for reliability and the hurricanes appear to be even less reliable. On the bright side used Mopar products with a V8 are going to hold value.

Instead of naming the fancied up Cherokee a wagoner they should have made a new name for it . Other than the name it don’t even remotely come close to being a wagoner . Don’t even slightly resemble it . Same with gm and the blazer . At least ford attempted to make the bronco similar to the original bronco . Use to be a gm fan well they have lost there ways and are going to shit . Dodge was on a good run , but now there going the same way gm is . Never was a ford fan but giving ford a thumbs up for there attempts on the bronco , two thumbs up for keeping the v-8 muscle car alive .
