My family bought direct from the War Ministry at the end of WW2 named Q tower on Felixstowe Suffolk. This tower is inusuall in that it was dug deep 6:19 into the cliff that run along the sea front so had a dry moat almost the height of the martello tower itself An Uncle dug out the thick walls by hand using hammer and chisel , a long job for sure

Stout constructions. With a little care it looks like they might stand a few hundred more years.

Morning Sam. These towers are at least 200 years old. Quite a few of them are now homes. I'm sure that they will definitely last a good few more years yet 😁. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
